opera, coffee, banners, bored
The result of drinking too much coffee and thinking about work outside of work can be found here.
If you wish to replace exisiting Opera banner on your page with a different one, then edit CSS and add:
#getopera img { display:none; }
#getopera { display:block; width:240px; height:120px; margin:0 0 10px 0; background:transparent url(link to image) top left no-repeat; }

community, coffee, coffee man, good stuff
I got a PM from Dustin about something called "Too Much Coffee". I clicked on the link and BAM! There I was... Displayed as some neurotic coffeholic with bulbing eyes!
Is this how you see me? Really? Hahhaha, awesome. I love you Dustin.
When I came to work today I had also received an awesome postcard with vacation greetings from my My Opera friends slackwrdave and reedplayernc. I think they've sent out a lot of post cards to people in the community, and that's really cool. This is the first time I've received anything, compared to always sending stuff out, this was a delightful surprise. It's soooo nice.
Hey, if anyone else wanna send me postcards feel free to do so! Shipping address:
- Espen André Øverdahl
- c/o Opera Software ASA
- PO Box 2648
- St. Hanshaugen
- NO-0131 Oslo
- Norway
This is also to show-off to my work colleagues that I have friends.

Overall, this has been an awesome day. I love this community and this job. I'm too lucky for this.

my opera, coffee, dots

There are those fascinating moments in life when you for example is writing a text message, and you discover that your dictionary has learnt a new word

My newest discovery is "somewhat" similar. Every morning I visit the frontpage of My Opera. A couple of days ago I was drinking coffee with my left hand and typing the web address with my right. I hit the Enter key and I noticed that I had forgotten to punch in the period in my dot opera dot com. I was on the edge of freaking out (error message, blue screen, shutdown and whatnot..) but hey! What happened? I got redirected to the frontpage.
You might give a damn about this, but I found it amusing since I'm answering a lot of support e-mails and telling people about My Opera, and I've (until now) always said "my dot opera dot com", but not anymore! Oh, the relief!
Oh well... back to work
