I read blogs for a living

My Opera is one of the finalists in the "Weblog awards" for "Best Online Community". I had never heard of it before, but apparently they are pretty big (500,000 votes cast in 2007 (source)). I had my doubts promoting it too much because other finalists in the award ceremony include communities such as "Jennifer Marohasy" (huh?), "Michael Jackson Fan Forum" (hm...), and so on.

Anyway, at the moment I'm pretty excited because My Opera might win! We've never been nominated to anything before, so it feels good to be acknowledged at least.

This is my plea to you: Vote My Opera!
