You're making a lot of money at Opera, aren't you? :D

Looks like a fun Christmas!

Amnith 17. December 2008, 17:04

OC, by the way?

EspenAO 17. December 2008, 17:15

OC = Opera Community. Almost like that tv-show thingy. p:

You're making a lot of money at Opera, aren't you?

Nope. Just lucky!

Amnith 17. December 2008, 18:17

MyO or MO > OC, imo. Mostly because OC reminds me of that TV series.

coxy 17. December 2008, 18:31

I think MOC needs to settle on a name/brand anyway. You need to choose between:

'My Opera' and lose the 'Community'
'Opera Community' and lose the 'My'
'My Opera Community' and keep it all.

I guess if you were calling the site 'My Opera Community' the url is my.opera.com which is good for looking like my.opera.community.

The url would also work for the site being called just 'My Opera' - with my.opera.com working alongside myopera.com

However, at the minute, the title of the site says 'Opera Community', the site's logo says 'My Opera', the footer says 'My Opera community' and the url suggests it could be all three.

Consistency, boys!

Are you cutting off the contest entries before anyone else wins again? p:

Furie 17. December 2008, 18:55

Quite often I refer to it as Bloody Opera, but BO isn't really a good brand. :left:

Amnith 17. December 2008, 18:57

I can agree with MOC or MO, but I think I like the latter the best. "MOC" is too close to "MOCK" in uttering p:

I got used to MyO after I played with the CSS and discovered #myo. Before that I always used My Opera.

TriMN 17. December 2008, 19:11

Bytte? :eyes:

Nerak 17. December 2008, 19:13

Flippin' show-off! :frown:

EspenAO 17. December 2008, 20:58

Coxy, you have valid points. Will look into that...

coxy 17. December 2008, 21:41

I have other valid points about Opera Community and Opera Browser in my browser's 'Notes' - but I'm saving them for a rainy day.

Amnith 17. December 2008, 22:56

coxy, the valid point man (VPM).

Methinks My Opera has a nice ring to it....

Plus I believe you guys have registered the domain http://www.myopera.com/

qlue 18. December 2008, 03:39

Of course, MO is likely to be uttered as 'emo' :insane:.

coxy 18. December 2008, 09:17

glue, but that's what blogs are? a whole load of emo-ness. P:

DBabbit 19. December 2008, 02:53
