DBabbit won't that make your body a bit acidic?

DeniseDBabbit Monday, December 22, 2008 3:16:48 AM

Lemons are acidic when eaten, but enzymes in the stomach turn them into one of the alkalizing foods.

Charles SchlossChas4 Monday, December 22, 2008 3:34:03 AM

but having so many in a short amount of time

DeniseDBabbit Monday, December 22, 2008 4:26:56 AM

I drink 16 oz. of lemonade, followed by 8 oz. of water, and an 8 oz. cup of hot green tea after every 2nd set of lemonwater/water. Even though it sounds like alot, it's only 2 tablespoons of lemon juice per glass.

Charles SchlossChas4 Monday, December 22, 2008 4:36:46 AM

well a few weeks of just lemonade...

I have my fruitpunch with Orange Jucice combo smile

DeniseDBabbit Monday, December 22, 2008 4:59:56 AM

I've got my grandmother's Kitchen Aid, and just recently found out I can still order accessories for it. I'm looking forward to fresh juiced fruit without the pulp. smile

Hey, that's a NORMAL portion for an American. lol

Although, I have noticed lately that due to the bad economy, restaurants are serving smaller portions (instead of raising prices), so maybe that will finally make Americans lost weight. rolleyes
