This is my crew.. at work.

They are my friends :D Doesnt matter that i keep arguing with them, about the city issues.. I cannot say its usual.. but its something close to that word!.. They dont really know always whats best for the city itself. But i cant do anything by myself.. That's the truth.
On sept. 9th we went to celebrate  the end of the building where we are at the moment..Its for sale.. Are you interested? :D I am not, cause its gonna fall apart soon.. in 10 years or so.
But the party was huge, i made a few cakes, salads and the others were barbequing trout (oncorhynchus). We even played a few games.. for example we had to jump over the campfire.. the one who succeeded got a tiny chocolate. It was more than enough for me.
After that we wanted to go to the sauna, i personally love chilling over there and thinking of my own thoughts.. its an amazing thing. They should work out the law that says.. every house is enforced to have the sauna in its territory  I would be more than happy about it.
Like people say.. the size doesnt matter
Aren't you wondering, that how come there's only 1 man in this crew? He is the newest worker.. just a beginner P: Women have got the power.. not bad!
I am the youngest person who's working for the covernment.. and my co-workers are almost 2 times older than me.. but there are some exceptions :D

experiences... never end

, , , ...

All of this event took only two days for me to experience something really unique.. that i had never done
It begun at 5:30pm, at my sister's homevillage. There was the traditional dance and music festival. Its been celebrated since 1961.
My sister moved to this village for more than 7 years ago. She has a kid, daughter named Kedi. She's a real heartbreaker, even though that she's almost 2 years old :D
First of all we wanted to see the procession itself (you can see the pictures of it on my photo album selection). In this procession.. there were represented all of the closest counties to Kabala (my sister's homevillage).
More than 300 (it's way too much in Estonia) dancers and singers walked around the village.. From the culture center to the platform.
We went to the final point to see their dances. It was fun! All of them had their own costumes, even singers had 1s. People constituted choirs, everything went so quickly.. At one point everyone was in their "own" corner, and then suddenly people were on the platform. Well done!
My sister had forgot one thing (women and their brains  , it happens).. that she wanted to visit the store. It was saturday and the shop was opened only from 9am to 6:30. This is insane.. and i mean it! But we got to there exactly 5 minutes before closing. I felt myself like a fool lol. But we needed to buy some vegetables and pasta, cause pastasalad needs them, and ofcourse, its was the partytime, then we had deserved some drinks, nothing too hard :D
Then we went back to the festival. We did hear some songs and saw a few dances again.. it was quite enough for us. And besides my sister's daughter needed her sleep. So, we went back home. It was 9:30pm. While we were partying, my sister's boyfriend had bought us some drinks.. it was Carriba with cola. To be honest it tasted like an old cough syrup, im serious  .
When her daughter was asleep, we took those bottles with us and went back to the afterparty.. it was like being in a club lol. Loud music and stuffs. My sister always kept asking me to dance with her, but i dont dance.. not at all.. Except the thing when im in a good mood, if you know what i mean lol. Ok, then she bought me a gin.. and told me to drink it while we were going to my brother's place, to take his wife with us :D She wasnt in a dancing mood as well. But when we had arrived back to the party, then we went on the stage and just danced.. Who did that better.. who did not. But we were dancing :D 3 girls only. But the turning point came about 3 minutes after our first dance.. there was a guy.. like a real bear, big and strong, and quite drunk as well. He wanted to dance with me, but i didnt want to, he told me that he wont give up unless he have had a dance. Oh well, he got it, but when the song was over, he kept asking another dance and so on.. In the end we were dancing for 3 hours.. Wow! and while we were dancing.. we also talked to each other. He kept saying how beautiful i am. And then he asked my phone number and kissed me.. Sweet!
When my other crew memebers wanted to leave, then i had to go with them. He didnt let me ofcourse, but i told him i have to. Thats how he let me go. Also he told me that he will call me, i thought yeah right. And we left.
My sister and my brother's wife were laughing at me.. and justifiably. Cause i didnt even want to remember what ive done. They said that we were so sweet couple.. Yeah right. Like the kangaroos on the corn field.
But i enjoyed it. No matter what.
We all.. 3 girls went to my sister's place.. Her boyfriend has called to his friend and invited to his place :D That wasnt the same guy, whom i was dancing with, what a relief  And also our brother was there.
It was 2am and we were barbecueing and talking about funny things. It lasted 4 and a half hours :D
About this guy.. who kissed me, he really did call me and send a few text messages and thats all lol, he told me he would like to meet me somehow, but how? cause i will go home on monday.

I know that some of you may think that why did i say some things out loud, that i should have kept them in secret, but it doesnt bother me

XVII Viljandi Folk Music Festival

, , , ...

23-26 July, 2009

The theme of XVII Viljandi Folk Music Festival is Solo! By choosing this theme, they would like to draw attention to one of the most important skills for folk musicians - the ability to play alone but still make the whole village dance the night away.
Playing solo is the most important form of music-making in the folk music traditions of many nations. In some places it is considered to be the simplest and most natural way to perform music. One musician or singer is enough to get the party started. At the same time, this kind of music requires individual mastery and the ability to convince people. Simply being proficient at handling an instrument is usually not enough. The singer or musician has to be broad-minded and good at communicating, has to know the background of the music and be familiar with the mores and traditions. A solo artist has to have a radiant personality.
Viljandi Folk Music festival 2009 takes a bow to one of the most important skills for folk musicians - the ability to play solo and capture the audience with your outstanding performance.
Several solo musicians and solo singers from both Estonia and abroad will perform at the festival. Needless to say, groups of two or more will also present their music at the festival, because groups do also consist of individual musicians, many of whom have a brilliant solo artist hidden inside.
