Computer operation

My new psu for my computer came in today, marking the big day where I can start installing it and the new graphics card...I was nervous. I had never actually worked on the inside of a computer before, or at least not a desktop. I had install RAM into my laptop, but that was nothing.

Uninstalling my old psu took a while, mainly because I didn't know where everything went, so I spent a lot of time scoping out what it was plugged in to. Then I very carefully unplugged everything, then unscrewed it from the tower. When I finally dislodged it from the unit, relief washed over me. I sized up the new one and figured it would fit, but resulting in a lot less room inside for my hands. It more or less fit, but I couldn't get two of the four screws: I ended up deciding to just go with it and pray that two will be enough. I plugged it into everything, plugged in the AC, and SUCCESS! Everything works fine.

Then the more nerve-racking part, installing the graphics. I don't feel like getting into all of the details, but in a nutshell: I figured out it simply wasn't going to work on account of some technical error. Something, whatever *insert vague approximation of my failure to upgrade a comuter*

the end
goodbye for now,
