Some people believe that some unpaid community service should be compulsory part of high school programmes (eg. Working in a charity, improving the relationship of neighbourhood or teaching sports to children.) Do you agree or disagree. (4:36)
In present-day society, it is generally recognised that charitable experience is playing increasingly crucial role in our lives. However, in the meanwhile, whether unpaid community service should be compulsory part of high school programmes constitutes a controversial issue. Some individuals assert that community service would definitely help enhance students’ social responsibility as well as enriching their working experience, while many others argue that learning in the classroom would be much better for high school students. From my own perspective, I am in favor of the former view.
