An antrhopological reproach.

Then one individual, in the course of his days, refused the honor, though his brother was led up to the dais, struggling with the bailiffs, as always. He simply wasn't entertained by the idea, and nothing in the protocol could force him, on his day, to accept his honor, but he spoke within his heart then and there, that he would hold it over all of his lawless fellow members. Thenceforth, at each assembly of "honor", when the 'man of the day' received this treasured token of the community's esteem, he would stare blankly from his spot, and frankly it spoiled the ambiance. It really, really killed the mood. He imagined that any sane one among them should follow his example!? "He bugged us all the time. Boy, he sucked."
