Today, I read in a newspaper that in Borneo, a father and sons are caught for murdering.
Sadly, one of his sons happen to be my classmates during secondary schooling. What a sad day it was.
In the Minority Report movie, there was a quote that murder is a crime of passion. I think we need to go back to the basics of morality. Our species are involved in what some call creative destruction. Why are we so screw up that we do the things we did?
We need to save ourselves. We need to walk the right path. We need to keep improving for the better. So help us, God!

Car Number Strike !!
Okay, the usual lottery story. That day was supposed to be a special day. I had a hunch about my car number today. I did the Shakespeare stuff "to buy or not to buy". My gut feeling was to bet big this time.
At last, I decided not to buy.
My car number did came out in third price at the right counter which I had intended to bet on.
What a waste. I could use the money to solve some short term problem.
Well, this was meant to be.
Hmm... I had another hunch again. This guesswork thinking. This time, it's going to come out again in one of the counter. If I can detect a pattern, it would be great but dream on...
In conclusion, I learn a valuable lesson. When one saw an opportunity, act on it with the right strategy. Time will not wait and it's not always easy to get a second chance in life. I've enjoyed a few of it of which I'm grateful in life..

I'm not much of a gambler when it comes to Lottery and 4D numbers. But I do buy it using very, very low amount of money for the fun of it. Sometimes, it's kind of exciting - one of the boredom killer, to guess a number and watch for the results. Cheap thrill, yeah...
There is a lot more to gamble when it comes to it's own concept. But that's another story altogether.
Anyway, I was buying some small amount of money on all kinds of numbers from the same company and never had got it for a long time. The last win was way back some time. Anyhow, I thought of changing one company and thought of rotating it every now and then. Unlike many people who would buy more or less the same numbers from different company to catch everything on the fly, I'm lazy to do that and thought of it as a waste of money buying the same number from different company when one cannot tell the results. So I thought using the rotating method. Besides, you never know when it is the full house. Futhermore, I don't buy a pattern of numbers but more of a rotating numbers and changes each time. Random number; game logic. But then again, I didn't follow it through so I got stuck with the old pattern almost, so then I almost got a win if I had choose the other company as my little game strategy implementation. Nice to know about that. Pretty interesting anyway. Nice little strategy and I would follow through it for the fun of it.
Ah... the theory of numbers and the game of chance!!

Okay lah.. another old one.
I'd decided to go for Myvi. I was told that for Myvi and the colour I'm choosing which is a hot colour for everyone, the expectation of getting the car is around November to December 2005. Wow, it's very popular with the people. Alas, the same cannot be said of Proton Savvy. 9 out 10 people I met have told me they'd prefer Myvi than Savvy.
At first, I thought of Ozzy Orange colour which my younger sister critise and said it's not pretty. Well, today I saw the Myvi with the Ozzy Orange colour and I have to agree with her. So I informed my Perodua Dealer and told that I want the Ebony Black colour instead. Luckily, I can still change the colour but the waiting list will now be between 4 to 6 months. It's fine with me since with that time frame, I can look for a good buyer as well as reducing my existing loan further before settling it. Getting the car in December would be great, kind of X'mas present not mention it would be a good time to pay your Insurance and road tax starting from that month, since prosperity is opening the door around that season.
The strange part is this, the same pattern emerge again. The first time I bought my Kancil, I choose another colour but along the way, I change the colour because the earlier one choosen did not look nice. Well, this time around, the same thing happen, I pick one colour, decide to change it with the same reason and with the same dealer. Hmm... maybe old habits die hard. Well, black it is this time and no regrets. Just hope I managed to obtain a large amount of money along this few months so I can borrow less and pay more in cash.
I hate loans sometimes!

Okay, okay.. this is a copy of an old blog.
Mobile phones these days are a craze and fashion trend for everyone. Over here, in Malaysia, people loves mobile phones a lot. Every time, I pass a mobile booth, everybody is always buying a mobile phones. Gone are the days, when it cost so much. I remember the time, where we use to carry those heavy phones around and especially to timber camps. Not to forget those Tai Koh Tai handphones. It was really something in those days.
I once remember when Motorola StarTac cost RM5000 ++, I wonder who would buy such expensive gadgets. In those days, it was an exclusive item for those who can afford it not to mention some cost RM10,000 plus.
My first phone happen to be Nokia, that is Nokia 2120 Limited Edition. At that time, all my friends laugh at me for buying Nokia brands which they said it was ugly and not cool. Bear in mind, at that time Motorola Tac Pro and the likes of it was the cool mobile phones. Nokia was a new kid on the block in my area at that time. But, I choose Nokia because I believe that Nokia is the future. Furthermore, the salesman was very convincing about it's features. But I guess, it was buying something that everyone was not using was the real factor. I really was convince about the future of Nokia. Well, the rest as they say is history.
I stop using handphone for 4years after that. From then on after my family insisted on me using a mobile phones for easy communication, I have tried Alcatel 701 and 715 which is really a good phone. The Alcatel 512 is terrible and so is Mitsubishi Mars even worse but it does have one of the few animated icons. It was back to Nokia 8250, the blue screen everyone talked about. Afterwards, it was Sony P800, the first PDA phone which I had wanted so long for the convergence of both since I first use the Ipaq. I hate carrying two of it. It was really a good phone and gave me a lot of exposure into Symbian OS platform and it's future. Sony Developer website was kind to me in many ways. Hmm.. I kind of like Nokia Developer now but of course Pocket PC platform is where the volume of $$ is. Then come, Nokia 7610 which I still like it but heck, it was the stupid 1 megapixel thing that I wanted to try. Try out Motorola MPX phone for a short while. It remind the pocket pc era back then. The design of the phone was good but the hardware and the OS is pathetic. But it was for simulation purpose anyway. The Nokia Communicator had been around for a long time and I remember seing the first Nokia 9000. It was expensive and I did dream for a long time of owning one but never come around it. Good phone, I thought back then. Well, now I had the chance of trying out Nokia 9500 and I must say, fantastic phone. Nokia did a good job for the communicator series and of course there is room for more improvement. But I really like it, commie as some calls it. Stylus, I may miss but the keyboard is desparately needed.
The future is young and there is more to come provided the money is flowing. One never knows. Tiny history of phones in short.
Long live the handphones!!

Ahhh...! Gosh, I really hate this spywares and the rest of the gang. It's really a pest and destroys people's computer. A lot of time is spend wasting just to clean it. Nowadays, surfing the Internet is not safe anymore. A firewall, anti-virus and anti-spyware is a must on a every computers.
