Short presentation
In the summer of 2008 i started using CB equipment for fun.
It all began with a simple CB transceiver TTi TCB-660 and a simple antenna located on the top of my building at that time.I was astonished to be able to achieve qso with stations located at over 1000 km away from my location. My first DX's was made in FM mode with only 4 watts, between channel 26 and 38 EU standard.
In 2009 I changed my TCB-660 with a new Magnum 257 capable of 30w FM and ~60w SSB, replaced my antenna with a dipol tuned on 27.555 and my old PC power supply was replaced with a home made classic psu. All this was followed by many dx's with most of west europe countries.
Today I'm using the classic Lafayette AFS-1005 followed by a home made antenna tuner conected to the same vertical open dipol at 30m above ground level.
