1976 Swine Flu Scam videos

, , ,

Many of you have heard about swine flu "pandemic" that the media keeps talking about. Over 100,000 people are supposed to be infected with the H1N1 virus. But, less than 1,000 people have died worldwide. Did you know that the U.S. government had a campaign back in 1976 about a supposed swine flu outbreak that was supposed to occur that year. They told people that they had to get the swine flu vaccine shots. The pandemic never occurred & the vaccine killed more people than the actual virus did. The government also had to pay out millions of dollars to people who were injured by the vaccine. Here is a 1979 report that was done on 60 Minutes about what happened. Are we about to repeat the same mistakes that were made back then again this year?

"The Proposal" movie review

, , ,

Here comes the bribe...

Yesterday, I went to the movies twice in one day. The first movie that I saw Saturday afternoon was The Proposal. I will do a post on the second movie I saw on Saturday later.

The Proposal stars Sandra Bullock as Margaret Tate, Ryan Renolds as Andrew Paxton, Mary Steenburgen as Grace Paxton (Andrew's mom), Craig T. Nelson as Joe Paxton (Andrew's dad), Betty White as Grandma Annie, Oscar Nuñez as Ramone, and Denis O'Hare as Mr. Gilbertson of the INS.

In this movie, Margaret is an executive editor-in-chief who is feared and hated by all that work under her. This includes her secretary, Andrew, who has been working for her for 3 years. He also dreams of becoming an editor. When Margaret enters the office, Andrew warns everybody by instant message that, "The witch is on her broom!" He planned on going to visit his family for his grandmother's 90th birthday, but Margaret tells him that he has to work instead. She gets called upstairs by her bosses for an urgent meeting. She tells Andrew to come get her soon. Upstairs, she learns that she is about to be deported back to her native Canada because her visa application has been denied. She thinks she will work from Toronto, but is told that she can't work for an American company if she is deported. Andrew walks in and a quick-thinking Margaret tells her bosses that she is engaged to Andrew. Later, she warns him that if he doesn't marry her, then she will be deported and he will lose his job. So he reluctantly agrees to it and they head to the Immigration office. There, Mr. Gilbertson warns them that if they are commiting fraud, then she will be deported and Andrew can face 5 years in prison. So they head to Sitka, Alaska to surprise his family with the announcement.

In Alaska we meet Andrew's family. Especially funny are Grandma Annie, Ramone and the family dog. The dog hates Margaret. It had been a while since I had seen a romantic comedy (or any comedy for that matter) in the theatres, so I decided to see this film. There were quite a few funny moments that had me and the audience laughing. The cast did a good job on this film. There were some slow moments and this is probably not the funniest movie of the year, but I would recommend The Proposal.

Compelling Obama/Soetoro articles

, , ,

I found these following articles interesting, so here they are:

Ted Rall: It’s increasingly evident that Obama should resign

MIAMI — We expected broken promises. But the gap between the soaring expectations that accompanied Barack Obama’s inauguration and his wretched performance is the broadest such chasm in recent historical memory. This guy makes Bill Clinton look like a paragon of integrity and follow-through.

From health care to torture to the economy to war, Obama has reneged on pledges real and implied. So timid and so owned is he that he trembles in fear of offending, of all things, the government of Turkey. Obama has officially reneged on his campaign promise to acknowledge the Armenian genocide. When a president doesn’t have the nerve to annoy the Turks, why does he bother to show up for work in the morning?

Obama is useless. Worse than that, he’s dangerous. Which is why, if he has any patriotism left after the thousands of meetings he has sat through with corporate contributors, blood-sucking lobbyists and corrupt politicians, he ought to step down now — before he drags us further into the abyss.

I refer here to Obama’s plan for “preventive detentions.” If a cop or other government official thinks you might want to commit a crime someday, you could be held in “prolonged detention.” Reports in U.S. state-controlled media imply that Obama’s shocking new policy would only apply to Islamic terrorists (or, in this case, wannabe Islamic terrorists, and also kinda-sorta-maybe-thinking-about-terrorism dudes). As if that made it OK.

In practice, Obama wants to let government goons snatch you, me and anyone else they deem annoying off the street.

Preventive detention is the classic defining characteristic of a military dictatorship. Because dictatorial regimes rely on fear rather than consensus, their priority is self-preservation rather than improving their people’s lives. They worry obsessively over the one thing they can’t control, what George Orwell called “thoughtcrime” — contempt for rulers that might someday translate to direct action.

Locking up people who haven’t done anything wrong is worse than un-American and a violent attack on the most basic principles of Western jurisprudence. It is contrary to the most essential notion of human decency. That anyone has ever been subjected to “preventive detention” is an outrage. That the president of the United States, a man who won an election because he promised to elevate our moral and political discourse, would even entertain such a revolting idea offends the idea of civilization itself.

Read the rest of the article here.
These "preventive detentions" proposed by Obama were also rightfully blasted by Rachel Maddow.

White House 'dialogue' site scrubbed of eligibility posts
Many Obama birth certificate queries yanked from 'transparency' debate

With more than 200 individual threads and thousands of comments on the eligibility issue alone, moderators of the White House website on "open government dialogue" have been working tirelessly to edit the dialogue about Barack Obama's elusive "long-form" birth certificate.

Many of the top-rated threads are from citizens calling on Obama to release his birth certificate. The postings in the "top rated" category have received the most "looks promising" votes from users. New threads on the topic of Obama's constitutional eligibility to serve as president are appearing by the minute.

WND observed the "Making Data More Accessible" section for several hours as more suggestions appeared and at least 60 were subsequently deleted on the first page alone – all requests for the president to submit proof of citizenship.

One deleted post echoed many others in asking President Obama to "Prove that you are a U.S. citizen and valid president."

The post asks why Obama doesn't simply release his "real birth certificate and end all of this controversy."

"Are you a fraud?" it asks. "Is your election to the highest office in the land the largest scam ever pulled on the American people? Are you really not eligible for office? End the speculation and prove who you are."

Read the rest of the article here.

Dr. Orly Taitz wants people to comment on a post on the Open Government Dialogue site called, Obama MUST step down he is NOT-eligible per his own admission! NO Birth Certificate Required! NOT eligible even IF born in HA. She was born in the former Soviet Union and believes that Obama/Soetoro is ineligible to serve as POTUS. Wonder if that post about Obama/Soetoro's eligibility will be deleted soon along with all the others. I had previously done a post on this issue of Barack Obama's (aka Barry Soetoro, which was his name when he grew up in Indonesia) eligibility, or lack thereof, for the office that he currently holds. This issue has not gone away, but continues to pester Mr. Obama/Soetoro because he refuses to release his "long form" birth certificate and he also sealed his school records at American schools he attended. Those records would show whether he attended the schools as an American citizen or as a foreign student. Here is an article that has 26 Facts about Mr. Obama/Soetoro. During the campaign, John McCain released all his records when asked. Senator McCain was born in the Panama Canal Zone. He did release his records, so why hasn't Obama/Soetoro done the same? He has been repeatedly asked in the months since he had announced his candidacy. Is he hiding something that he doesn't want the American public & the world at large to know? Let's say that he was born in Kenya, thus making himself ineligible for POTUS, he has made himself open to blackmail by others who know and will use it against him & America. The Mike in the Morning show interviewed the Kenyan ambassador shortly after the election and asked him if they were planning to make Obama's birthplace in Kenya into a memorial. The ambassador admitted that those plans are already underway! You also go to his website where you can listen to the full almost 20 minutes long call for yourself. There are some people that say that Obama/Soetoro posted his "birth certificate" online, but there are allegations that the document is a forgery. You can also see a video on this subject posted by Dr. Ron Polarik here.

"Star Trek: The IMAX Experience" movie review

, ,

Last night (Friday) I went to the 2315 (11:15pm) showing of Star Trek at the local IMAX theatre. It has been a while since I last saw a movie at that theatre. A movie buff I know recommended seeing Star Trek at the IMAX, so I took his advice.

Star Trek stars Leonard Nimoy (the original Spock) as Spock Prime, Chris Pine as James Kirk, Zachary Quinto (from TV's Heroes) as Spock, Karl Urban as Leonard "Bones" McCoy, Zoe Saldana as Nyota Uhura, John Cho as Hikaru Sulu, Anton Yelchin as Pavel Chekov, Simon Pegg as Montgomery Scott, and Eric Bana as Nero.

This is the first Trek movie since 2002's Star Trek: Nemesis, a drought of 7 years. The average time between movies had been around 3 years before. This movie heads back to the 23rd century that we know from the original TV series. In this movie though, things get changed around a lot from what many Trekkies are familiar with. In the late 24th century, the Romulans aboard the Narada go back in time to exact revenge on Spock for something that he does in the 24th century. Spock Prime also gets pulled back in time with them to 23rd century. The movie begins with the Narada emerging in a space lighning storm near the USS Kelvin, which the Romulans quickly attack. They order the captain to come aboard their ship. He puts his first officer, George Kirk, in command while he is gone. George and his pregnant wife, Winona are onboard the Kelvin and she is in labor. The Romulans kill the captain and continue their attack on the USS Kelvin. George fights back while he orders everyone to abandon ship. The Kelvin is destroyed, but not before Winona and newborn James survive. This creates an alternate universe since orginally James Kirk grows up with both parents. James grows up into a rebellious youth since only his mother raises him. Meanwhile, as Spock grows up on the planet Vulcan, he is teased because he is the product of a Vulcan father, Sarek, and a human mother, Amanda. This is considered a disability since he's not considered a true Vulcan. Eventually their lives will intersect and the Federation is attacked by Nero.

I've been a Trekkie for a long time and was looking forward to seeing this movie. Usually the odd-numbered Trek films are not as good as the even-numbered ones. Since this is the 11th film in the franchise, I was worried about this happening again. Those fears were put to rest with this movie. Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan was my favorite Trek film until this one. This movie rocks. The characters are well developed here and the action sequences are good. The new cast portraying the familiar characters are well cast. For instance, Zachary Quinto is excellent as young Spock. Seeing this movie on an IMAX screen really enhances the experience. Especially during the space battle scenes, they really look awesome in IMAX. This is the last weekend that they are showing Star Trek in IMAX here, so I am really happy that I saw it before it was too late. If you get to see it in an IMAX theatre, then take it before it is too late. Even if you don't see it on IMAX, then I highly recommend that you go see this movie on the big screen. It will be well worth your ticket price. Below are some clips from the Star Trek movie:

No Pants Subway Ride 2009

No Pants Subway Ride 2009

A little over 2 weeks ago I was back home in New York City. On Saturday, 10 Jan, a group of pranksters called, Improv Everywhere staged their No Pants Subway Ride 2009. If you don't know about this yearly event, then you can read about this years' event on their No Pants 2k9 blog post.

This is being mentioned now because I remember seeing some of the people involved in that event in the subway on that particular Saturday. I didn't know that the No Pants Subway Ride was that day. Mom & I were on the 3 train from Brooklyn into Manhattan when we saw some of the participants in our subway car they got on in Manhattan). :eyes: If you look at the 1:10 mark on the video, you will see a lady with a pink top and no pants on. Then look at the 1:14 mark on the tape and you will see a couple. I remember seeing them because they were all sitting nearby mom & me! The lady in pink was on my :right: while the couple were on my :left: sitting across the car diaganolly from us. At the time, the 3 train was running on the local track (where the 1 train runs) instead of the express track because of some maintenance work that was being done at the time. I did think that it was a bit funny, but I kept it to myself since I was with my mom. Don't think that I would ever volunteer to do something like this because I'm way too shy. :o: This did bring some fun to my trip, so thanks to Improv Everywhere for making that Saturday a little more enjoyable. Even with the cold wind blowing while the snow was falling that day.

"I Want My Bailout Money" by Mike Adams

, , , ...

About By Michael Adams - The Health Ranger
Thank you for your interest in my first hip hop song, "I Want My Bailout Money." I wrote, arranged, performed and produced this song from my desk, using an HP laptop, some audio editing software, and the same microphone I use for podcasting. The background beats were all commercially licensed from various companies, which I then mixed and arranged to create the music. You can learn more about this by listening to the audio commentary on this song (click the play button, above).

I wrote this song to help spread the message about the unprecedented theft of money from the American people that has been masterminded by the white-collar criminals running our country today. U.S. Treasury officials and Federal Reserve officials have conspired to steal trillions of dollars from everyday Americans by creating insane quantities of new money and handing it over to their rich, incompetent banker friends. It is one of the greatest financial cons ever perpetrated in human history, and yet few people seem to understand what's actually going on.

This song intends to send a warning message to a new generation of Americans who typically might not read news websites but enjoy entertaining music. The message it delivers is very clear: If we hope to have a financial future in America (or even a future for America as a nation), the People must find a way to take back their money supply from the crooks in Washington and get back to an honest money system that cannot be manipulated by white-collar criminals running the Fed and the Treasury. Flatly stated, if we don't stop the mad debt spending, end the financial rewarding of incompetent bankers, solve our health care crisis, balance the federal budget deficit and kick the crooks out of Washington, we may soon see an era of runaway hyperinflation and possibly even the financial demise of America as we know it.

If you want to help get this message out to others, feel free to burn this song to CDs and hand them out, or copy it to your iPod, post it on your website, etc. You can download MP3 files on the right. Please give proper credit to the song author (Michael Adams) and link back to this page. I have no financial gain whatsoever from this song and only ask to be given credit as the author. Watch for more songs coming out soon about natural health and health freedom. And read NaturalNews.com daily if you want to hear more of what I've got say on issues ranging from pharmaceuticals to monetary policy.

Feel free to post your comments about this song, the Federal Reserve and other topics by using the comment section below.

Thank you,

- Michael Adams, the "Health Ranger," creator of I Want My Bailout Money and editor of NaturalNews.com

You can download the song, read the lyrics and more of Mike's commentary on his song page. To learn more about the Federal Reserve System, check out this earlier post of mine.

"Quantum of Solace" movie review

, ,

Last night (Saturday) I went to see the new James Bond adventure, Quantum of Solace at the movie theatre. You can see the trailer here.

The movie stars Daniel Craig as James Bond; Olga Kurylenko as Camille; Judi Dench as M; Mathieu Amalric as Dominic Greene; Giancarlo Giannini as Mathis; Gemma Arterton as Strawberry Fields; Jeffrey Wright as Felix Leiter; and Joaquín Cosio as General Medrano.

This movie starts a short time after the end of Casino Royale as Bond tries to find the people responsible for the death of Vesper, the woman he loved. Mr. Bond and M interrogate Mr. White who tells them that his organization (which MI6 has never heard of before) is more extensive than they know. He is lead to Dominic Greene, who is helping the exiled General Medrano retake control of Bolivia. This mission takes 007 all over ther world. Will he make this mission personal or will he keep it professional?

Quantum of Solace clocks in at 106 minutes, so it's a shorter film than Casino Royale. Daniel Craig and Judi Dench do very well in their respective roles. Russian born actress Olga Kurylenko is very good in her role as Camille. This was the first movie that I've seen her in and I was impressed with her performance. I'm sure she will have many more movie roles coming her way in the future. The action in this movie is quite intense in some scenes. The movie moves along at a good pace as Bond travels around the world on his mission. I had gotten used to seeing Q, with his many gadgets in the Bond films. It is taking some getting used to the changes that have been made since the producers decided the series needed a reboot. The series had gotten pretty forumulaic and these new movies are pretty refreshing to see. I did enjoy Quantum of Solace and recommend it to other Bond fans, or anybody who likes action movies in general. I think you will be happy that you went along for the ride with James Bond. Now, here are some clips from the movie:

"Tell No One" movie review

, ,

8 years ago, Alex's wife was MURDERED. Today... She e-mailed him.

Earlier this past weekend, I saw the French movie, Tell No One, at a local theatre.

Tell No One is based on the novel by Harlan Coben. It stars François Cluzet as Docteur Alexandre Arnaud 'Alex' Beck; Marie-Josée Croze as Margot Beck; André Dussollier as Jacques Laurentin; Kristin Scott Thomas as Hélène Perkins; François Berléand as Eric Levkowitch; Nathalie Baye as Maître Elysabeth Feldman; Marina Hands as Anne Beck; and Gilles Lellouche as Bruno.

The movie begins with Dr. Alex Beck & his wife Margot together. They go to a lake that Alex's family owns together one day. They spend a fun, loving day together at the lake, when suddenly Margot is attacked. Alex rushes to her aid, but he is knocked out, then wakes up in the hospital to learn that his wife has been murdered. She is believed by some to have been killed by a serial killer who denies taking her life. Alex is still troubled by his wife's death 8 years later. He goes to her parents' house on the anniversary of her death every year. One day, 2 bodies are found near where Margot's corpse was discovered which causes the police to reopen the case. Alex also receives an email from Margot with a video that supposedly shows her alive & to "tell no one." Alex launches his own investigation into his wife's murder. The police were never really satisfied that Margot had been murdered by a serial killer. When new bodies start piling up, they suspect Alex. When evidence ties him to the murders, the police come after him, but he bolts.

I had never heard of the movie before until I read a review of it in the newspaper. I had never read the novel that this movie is based on either. This film is about 125 minutes long with English subtitles. It is very well acted. The action is good, it has some clever plot twists that really make the movie quite interesting. This film is in limited release, so it may be hard to find in your area. If you do find it playing nearby, I recommend Tell No One to you. You will not be disappointed if you do. Below is the trailer for the movie:
