"Iron Man" movie review

Heroes aren't Born. They're Built.
I recently went to see Iron Man at the movie theatre. You can read what the critics have to say here.
Iron Man stars Robert Downey Jr. as industrialist Tony Stark; Terrence Howard as Jim Rhodes; Jeff Bridges as Obadiah Stane; Gwyneth Paltrow as Tony's personal assistant, Pepper Potts; Leslie Bibb as reporter Christine Everhart; Shaun Toub as Yinsen; Faran Tahir as Raza.
The movie begins in Afghanistan. Tony Stark is part of a military convoy on his way back from demonstrating a new weapon from his company, Stark Industries, to the military brass. His convoy is ambushed and he is wounded in the attack. He awakes in a cave to find that he is a prisoner along with Yinsen, of a group of terrorists. The terrorists, led by Raza, have Stark Industries weapons and want Tony to build them his newest weapon. Instead, Tony & Yinsen build a suit of armor that Tony uses to escape his captors. The suit malfunctions after his escape, stranding him in the desert. He wanders along and is eventually rescued by American troops that have been looking for him for 3 months. Tony returns home, holds a press conference where he announces that his company is pulling out of the weapons business, which surprises everyone. Tony feels guilty for how his weapons are being used by terrorists in Afghanistan. He decides to right the wrongs by building the Iron Man armor.
Iron Man has stuck more to the comics than some comic book movies have before. This is refreshing for the comic book fans such as myself. I hate to go to a movie derived from a comic book, only to see that they have totally changed it around.

Hi Becky, this is one of the better comic book movies that I have seen. I want to see The Dark Knight when it comes out later this summer too.

Hi Becky, there might be more Spider-Man movies in the future. We'll see how they go if they are made.
Hi Sarah & Rose, I got a bit carried away with the clips.
Hi Amir, I will check it out soon.
Hi Mickeyjoe, I agree; I'm looking forward to the other 2 movies also.
