It was 40 years ago today my granddad took me for a ride in the new Metro of Rotterdam. On the second day of is existance we went from start to end (just 6 kilometers) and back. We didn't buy a ticket for that second ride, which was naughty 
according to the rules of a little boy.
My granddad was rather ill and had difficulties breathing but it was a very special moment in the lives of two men. Just the two of us going for a little big journey.
This is one of my dear memories.
