"Conan, The Boy in Future" is a Japanese animation series which ran on NHK network in 1978 originally. I saw the series in 1992 on a Japanese channel. Actually, I can not speak Japanese but I still watched the episodes everyday. Few years later, a Hong Kong channel broadcast it in Chinese speaking. This time, I can understand it 100%. The series is an adaptation of "The Incredible Tide"that was written by Alexander Key, an American writer and directed by Hayao Miyazaki who is known for "Howl's Moving Castle" and "Laputa: Castle in the Sky".
Recently, I bought the set of DVD. The story is about a boy who lives in the future which is destroyed by something like nuclear bomb. Everything are changed and resource for daily life are limited in the world. It's similar to the Hollywood movie "Waterworld" or "The book of eli". I am attracted by this series not only the story but also the vehicles and machines in it.
