Actually Ive just got into m-flo since last year, and never checked even one full album from them because of my crazy schedule. All the singles I grabbed are pretty good and addictive, but I found myself undescribably neutral after listening to 17 tracks of their newest album Cosmicolor. Of course there are some remarkable tracks such as Love dont cry, Luvotomy and Love me after 12AM (the old songs that were released as single dont count), while the rest are just monotonous to me. Maybe its just me who always get bored listening to a full album during over an hour, and its happened like over and over. As for Luvotomy, this is the first time Ive listened to a song with medium tempo and very different from their old works. Frankly it sounds extremely similar to Namie's songs . Love me after 12 AM is another relaxing song from this album. The first feeling coming to me is that its rather a RnB song instead of one with rap and Alex's peaceful voice. Love me after 12 AM is very adorable though. Besides, I must admit that I like most of their lounge songs so far, plus couples of house-ish (or dance? I feel like im dummy at classifying genre these days) ones like Love Long and Prosper. And still, in my opinion, Cosmicolor cant beat DJ Taku's Tachytelic Night in almost all aspects.
