Garden Flowers on a late July Evening

We have had quite a few lovelly warm Summer evenings although not as much as we would like for our Summer! :D I have also been learning a new technique with my editing of photos, instead of using enhance all the time, i was told that using colour balance, brightness and contrast was better, especially for the aircraft i take photos of, so i tried a bit here too.

Tiger in the Allysums.

Benjie drinking from the bird bath!

Group of Marigolds in the flowerbed.

Water droplets on a leaf.

Candyfloss style Bizzy Lizzies in the hanging basket.

Lovelly evening sky view looking west.

Benjie posing for the camera.

Nasturtiums with water droplets.

Beautiful flowerbed display, its nice i grew these from seed and now they are florishing nicely.

Hypericum flowers looking nice with water droplets on them.

Deep red Nasturtium flowers.

Tomatoes coming on nicely.

And finally, here is Foxy the Fox cub in the Allysums.

The garden looks lovelly for this time of year and taking photos of the flowers at night makes it look so beautiful and striking, hopen you enjoyed this post. :D

Garden Flowers in July

The plants in the flower bed are rapidly growing and taking over the place! P: Especially the Allysums here.

Its good that they get really big becaue it covers the bare patches of ground and stops weeds from growing in the gaps.

Foxy the Fox cub ornament is almost hidden from sight now!

Petunias look quite stunning, i took these while it was Dusk, making some nice pics with the flash.

Couple more nice shots, its a wonderful time of year in mid Summer.

I grew more strawberries this year and they managed to avoid getting eaten by the birds and slugs which is good, here is some nice pics before they got eaten by me. P:

Enjoy! D

More Garden scenes late June 2008

Iam getting up to date again:P I planted more plants in the flower bed to fill in any gaps of soil left to make it really colourful and attractive. There are even afew Bumbl Bee's taking an interest of mking a small nest inbetween the rocks, they come and go and dont seem to mind me gardening around them but they are very camera shy!

Rocky the Fox cub is amost hidden in the Allysums, looks like a real Fox almost!

I bought a couple of these interesting looking plants for the background.

A small twin prop plane flies over into Goodwood.

Its looking nice now, like a colourful carpet with a wave of Allysums bordering the front.

Rocky the Squirrel.

Close up of the lovelly colours and shapes of the plants and flowers.

I liked this blue flowering plant and bought a pack of six for £1.

Can your spot Rocky the Fox cub? P:

The Marigolds are beginning to bloom.

When i was in Chichester shopping one weekend, they had a garden market on and i bought a plant pot with a painted Fox on it and here it is with a Bizzie Lizzie plant in.

The Hypericum bush is flowering again with its lovelly yellow flowers.

And finally, a close up of an Ant in one of the Hypericum flowers.

Hopefully the lovelly sunny hot weather of June will return soon! Hope you enjoyed this post. :D

My garden had a nice makeover during last Winter and Spring and we now have a lovelly Decking space wherea very overgrown and too large flower bed was. It looks much better now and wehave more pot plants to decorate it aswell.

Group of animals enjoying the morning sunshine. P:

Extreme close up of an Ant on a Nasturtium leaf, it seems to be eating the Blackfly i think?

Lovelly deep red flower on this Nasturtium.

After taking the Ants and Blackfly off it, i potted it up and gave it to my friends who came down from Bostok for the Weekend, i will see it again when i fly up there in August. :D

Small group of Allysums in a pot.
