Actually I was trying to respond to a private message that you sent me, but I was told that you had turned private messaging off. You had asked me about my WWII photo album.
They are my father's photos. In the album cover, he is the one wearing a helmet. He served in Guam, the Tinnian Islands, Saipan and Iwo Jima. At Iwo Jima,, he was an antiaircraft gunner. After V-day, he remained in Iwo Jima for a number of month collecting and disposing of weapons.
