Fantastic!! Am very curious as to your equipment - are you scanning your photos? What macro lens do you have? I'm envious of your exposures. I never get the right contrasts. Do you do any post shot tweeking? Looking forward to studying the rest of your albums!
take care,

Fabulous picture!!! It must be the closest macro I've ever seen! And the rest of the album isn't bad either...

Where is the Blue Star group when you need it?! p:

lenora, thank you! You may be surprised to discover that I use a simple digital point-and-shoot camera! It's a Canon PowerShot SD800IS Digital ELPH, and is already quite 'old' by industry standards with only 7 megapixels and a 3.8x zoom! It forces me to get close to my subject material  I do a bit of post shot tweeking in Photoshop, mainly auto levels, auto contrast, a bit of added saturation and sharpening. That's it! :D

Much obliged for the info! I'm humbled. It's absolutely true that a good photographer can take good pictures with any camera. But I'm still stunned that you can do that with an Elph! I'm still trying to figure out my Olympus. Cheers!

Lenora, it is pretty amazing what a little Elph can do. Good luck with your Olympus!
