THANK YOU to My Opera for making me this week's Member of the Week!!

This is such a surprise!! I can hardly believe it, especially since it has only been one year since I took my first photo with my tiny little camera. I am so appreciative of my Opera friends for your warm welcome here, and for your kind words and encouragement during my foray into the world of blogging and photography, while developing my "artistic eye".

I am sure to be mind boggled for quite some time over this honour. So once again, thank you so much to everyone here at My Opera for being so kind and for making my week with the MOTW!!!

Hi Linda, thanks so much! I hope to get take some autumn photos soon as the leaves will be reaching their peak colour this (Canadian Thanksgiving) weekend.

I concur with Lindsay (Hermitess). I noticed on one of your posts you mentioned a rare red trillium (and the trillium being the provincial flower of Ontario - being from Hamilton, I just happened to know that...). I've never seen one. It's beautiful. In fact, your photos are some of the best I've seen anywhere. You have an excellent eye for catching objects and colour and light.

Congratulations on your limelight as MOTW. As a former MOTW in 2007, it's nice to be chosen and recognized throughout the world (though you wonder what all the "traffic" is about to your blog
