Two things to do to help our planet.

Do you like coffee? I bet one or two do. Well, did you know that the white paper you use to filter is bleached with chlorine? That process of bleaching creates a lot of pollution and toxic substances for the environment, mainly rivers because dioxins like plankton. Besides, all those filters are used just once, can you imagine the huge quantity of rubbish that is made in just one week in a neighbourghood?

What to do? Try to find ecological filters, the chlorine-free ones. Some are even available in the internet ( http://www.ecofilter.com/ ). If you want to do a better job, buy the old and reliable cotton filters, all washable and reusable.

Also, try not to use much paper to clean stuff in the kitchen. Better use those paper towels that, although not chlorine-free, can be used and reused several times before being disposed. Or better yet, use a piece of old cloth and wash it when needed.

Now. What does all this recycling stuff matter if we just can't get rid of all the cans, bottles and e-waste? Use the phone and Internet!. Get informed about how your city or country implements recycling programs and consumer centres. Here the Environment Ministry is promoting a campaign with all mobile phones providers to recycle old devices.

Remember that information is power.

Anyway, it's nice all these topics you're posting. It's really necessary that we realize right now that we're destroying our world and that we need to take care of it right now or we won't have a place to live in in some years, its destruction is not science fiction, it's something that is just around the corner.

when you need scrap paper ,use the back of one page letter you received in the mail,or the back of the pages that you printed and you don't need them any longer.
You will be amazed how much paper you economize!

If you use reusable filters for your coffee, make sure you are washing them well! The coffee oil it is trapped in them.If not cleaned well that oil can be in your next cup of coffee.
Don't worry about calories, worry about your heart.It will give you a heart problem!:frown:
No mater what you do, do it right and be proud of it!

Pero como se va a aburrir de ti ? No creo que haya un chico en esta galaxia que se pueda aburrir de ti mi querida ViviDee. Yo no conozco casi nada a Andrès, pero me imagino que es como un querido sobrino mio, que si le decimos negro, el dice blanco, si le decimos, bueno, blanco, el dice entonces negro. Y asi es feliz.
Andrès es un chico, segun mi parecer, muy interesante, o sea, leo sus comentarios y los encuentro sumamente buenos. Entonces imaginate lo que serà salir con el. No te desesperes amiga linda, solo piensa que los hombres no piensan como nosotras. Asi tengan una cita de amor o con alguna amiga, si se les atraviesa algo en el camino, pues a veces llegan a perder esa cita y ni cuenta se dan.
Lo contrario de nosotras, que casi no duermes tres noches seguidas pensando en ese momento, deja una de comer, se cambia de ropa 89 veces al dia, no se...es todo una batalla. Y nos sentimos regias y soñadas. Mientras que a veces el chico ni se acuerda. Lo que te quiero decir es que no te desesperes, no es que no te haga caso, no es que ya se haya aburrido de ti, simplemente es hombre, y la diferencia es que ellos pues piensan con la cabeza, mientras que nosotras solo usamos el corazon. bug

I believe we use our EGO. That's why we suffer more. If something doesn't go our way and our EGO is bruised then we suffer.
We forget that men and women are wired differently.
It is so simple if we approach each other(meaning a couple) with the intention to find happiness. When you wake up in the morning and you wonder"what can I do today to make him/her glow from happiness?",then it is not a heart or a brain action it is a love action and nobody will suffer!

We suffer because we use our ID, not our ego.

For those unaware, ID comes from Inner Desire. Our Ego is our survival instinct, which is different. Our Super Ego are our customs, imposed by external interaction. Our Ego is what makes us different from lascivious beings interested only in our own benefit, and republican blokes, double-faced and hipocrits. Ego is what makes us control both ID and Super Ego.

FoxM, I hope your Ego does not control your simple, innocent,and your open to feelings self.
Our Inner desires not always mach with the reality we do experience.
And lets not forget that there are many objects of desire out there that our Inner Desire drives us to. Our simple self without the EGO will give us the more valuable Inner peace that can erase our Inner Desire with laughs and not tears......

EGO: comes from the Greek EGW that means self. People with a big Ego are self centered and selfish. In that case there is no room for acceptance, love, compassion and happiness...

Wrong. ID is seen mostly in babies: everything is centered in self pleasure, acomplishment of objectives, without taking in count the consecuences...

THAT is a selfish person.

The ego is the balance between getting what you want, but without bothering others (and by "others" I mean, the society)

  • F1 Tipping

    A MUST for every race. Requires Subscription to the Official F1 site but it's quite interesting to watch a race and also follow times =) At least for a follower like me
