I could be moved if I were like you: if I could beg to move, then begs would move me. But I'm as steady as the polar star, which is the most fixed star in the sky.
bien podría conmoverme si fuera como tú: Si pudiera rogar para conmover, los ruegos me conmoverían. pero soy tan constante como la estrella polar, de cuya cualidad fija e inmovil.no hay par en el firmamento.
I knew about George Carlin just after he died, as one of my favourite writers was also a fan of him.
I wanted to write something since then, but now I found the smartest and most shocking quote of Carlin, that shows my feeling very well.

I look at it this way... For centuries now, man has done everything he can to destroy, defile, and interfere with nature: clear-cutting forests, strip-mining mountains, poisoning the atmosphere, over-fishing the oceans, polluting the rivers and lakes, destroying wetlands and aquifers... so when nature strikes back, and smacks him on the head and kicks him in the nuts, I enjoy that. I have absolutely no sympathy for human beings whatsoever. None. And no matter what kind of problem humans are facing, whether it's natural or man-made, I always hope it gets worse.
Talking about something broke... I recommend a musicians couple called Broken Poets. I found them in Magnatune
They might be called Broken, but their music and lyrics are truly amazing. That's my favourite free musicians group.
You can listen their whole albums for free (in the Creative Commons sense of the word). If you want to support them (or any of the artist in magnatune) just buy the album. You can pay for it what your heart desires.

Naturally, the common people don't want war; neither in Russia nor in England nor in America, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, it is the leaders of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy or a fascist dictatorship or a Parliament or a Communist dictatorship. ...voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is to tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same way in any country.
The pirate speaks,"I be sorry for bein' late. I was busy robberin' some guys and drinkin' rum, so t' weekend I had t' spent it at work. But I had a few seconds t' update me site, that will be like this for undefined period o' time. Thanks a lot t' all for comin' in even with t' lack o' activity. Wait... what I just said? I be becomin' a sissy!"
It's been long since the time I posted a sad text... but there are times when things HAVE to end. I cheated myself, like I knew I would, says the song. Trying to fix a broken piece is pointless, as there is no way to recover anything to its initial state. Scars, even on the surface, change completely our point of view on the subject.
This is my post-it note to remember that I have to learn how, what and who I am. Always.
What is this? I know Bogotá is not the best place in the world, and I knew normally northamericans have no idea of the rest of the world, but this is incredible. (Besides, it is an excuse to post another completely useless new post). I am watching Mr. and Mrs. Smith and I am totally amazed about how it starts. It says 'We met in Colombia. In Bogotá, 5 years ago...' and then, the shock: a series of scenes of a town, filled with bombs and guns and chickens, people speaking in mexican accent and a... taste of 38 degrees centrigrade with fans included.
Outrageous. Are we that shallow?
P.S. Ohh my... I do not know why I am still watching this. It is an awful movie.
I do not really know what is going on with this song. The lyrics [below] are stupid; there are no special points in the rythm of the song that makes it particularily impressive, the bass and guitar are awfully repetitive, the voice is almost plain. It is boring like hell... it is like listening a rocker version of Satisfaction. So why in heaven do I like it so much? Anybody knowledgable of rock music can explain me this?
How I wish you could see the potential, the potential of you and me It's like a book elegantly bound, but in a language that you can't read - just yet You gotta spend some time--love, you gotta spend some time with me And I know that you'll find--love, I will possess your heart (x2)
There are days when outside your window, I see my reflection as I slowly pass And I long for this mirrored perspective, when we'll be lovers, lovers at last You gotta spend some time--love, you gotta spend some time with me And I know that you'll find--love, I will possess your heart(x2)
I will possess your heart (x2)
You reject my advances and desperate pleas I won't let you, let me down so easily, so easily
You gotta spend some time--love, you gotta spend some time with me And I know that you'll find--love, I will possess your heart (x3)
The Independent Media Centre. One of the most radical sites of politics and news. But if it's read carefully, gives a lot of clarifying answers and raises more questions about whow bad our world is taking important decisions.
A nice flash animation, and of course a big web site telling why not to join the northamerican army. Of course, I'm not from that country, neither I would like to, but Iraq war it's not right and also affects the rest of the world, incluiding me, so

A collection of free internet radio stations. Very good indeed. Nice music, although my favourite station, Onomatopoeia, died some time ago. Still there are very good stuff in here. Check it out!! hahaha
Tutorials for learning ancient greek. Have been here some times... it looks pretty interesting, but or I am quite slow, or ancient greek is not easy to learn... I suppose a tutor would help me, but this is not one of my priorities.
