Reading Schedule.
Tuesday, 22. August 2006, 07:51:18
I am currently working on a seven day reading schedule - about twenty minutes a night after my study is complete. I don't get a great deal of time to read, however I will keep you updated with reviews of each book as I go through them. Sort of like an individual book blog.
Here is how my reading program works.
Book 1 - History non-fiction.
- Aztecs: Reign of Blood & Splendor. - Time Life Publishing.
Book 2 - Positive mental attitude non-fiction.
- Fish. - Lundin, Paul & Christensen.
Book 3 - Christian non-fiction.
- Boundaries. - Dr's Henry Cloud & John Townsend.
- Started: 24/08/2006.
Book 4 - Classical fiction.
- The Taming of the Shrew. - William Shakespeare.
- Started: 25/08/2006.
Book 5 - Other non-fiction.
- Teach Yourself Linguistics. - Jean Aitchison.
Book 6 - Fiction.
- A Shadow on The Glass. - Ian Irvine.
- Started: 15/08/2006.
Book 7 - Finance/Investment non-ficiton.
- Think Yourself Rich. - Sharon, Maxwell & Magnus.
When I finish a book I move onto the next book in the next category. (I will probably have three on the go at a time though - in case I don't feel like reading non-fiction on a particular night of the week. The aim is to cover each of these seven areas equaly with the two being very wide fields (other non-fiction and fiction).

I also read periodicals daily, though I don't get as much time to read these as I would like. I tend to scan them a bit. Obviously I must place priority with the ones associated with my chosen field of study.
As well as this I must also put a high priority on my text book reading and any associated reading and this may just mean that on certain occassions I will have to skip reading other material now and then.
