Time for our voices to be heard!

Mccain.....um ok?

, , ,

During his time in the prison camp, John SIDNEY McCain was subjected to torture in order to get him to sign statements critical of the UNITED STATES and its MILITARY. Experiences such as this were common to many prisoners. What is not common is the fact that John SIDNEY McCain ended up actually signing the statement given to him by his North Vietnamese captors.

His "confession" is rife with statements that are offensive to all AMERICANS. In it, he "apologizes" for the "murder" of civilians (a fact that is patently false...the majority of all civilian deaths in the Vietnam war were committed by the COMMUNISTS, since it is only through wholesale murder that they can enforce their ideology), as well as admitting that he was a tool for AMERICAN imperialism. His signature can be clearly seen at the bottom of the statement, so we can surmise that even if he didn't write all the words, he agrees with them. By doing so, he spit on every man and woman who has ever worn the uniform of the UNITED STATES MILITARY.

Besides the fact that by signing such a statement, he directly gave aid and comfort to the enemy, somebody also needs to tell John SIDNEY McCain that AMERICA is a REPUBLIC, not an EMPIRE. If he cannot tell the difference, then John SIDNEY McCain does not have the character to be President.

SO TRUE,SO SAD.....

New "Violent Crime Bill"

, , ,

The government's throne speech will promise a one percentage point cut in the GST and legislation aimed at cracking down on violent crime, according to a leaked copy obtained by The Canadian Press.

The speech is scheduled to be delivered by Gov. Gen. Michaelle Jean at 7 p.m. ET.

It will also include a promise to hold a Parliamentary vote on the Afghan mission, and will say that Canada is unable to meet its Kyoto commitments.

According to CP, the speech will outline plans for a new "Tackling Violent Crime" bill, that aims to crack down on impaired driving and set mandatory prison terms for gun crimes.

"I think we'll be moving forward on the areas that are consistent with what we've been doing in the past and also reflect what Canadians want," Government House Leader Peter Van Loan told CTV's Canada AM on Tuesday.

"A focus on a strong economy will be a big part of the speech, seeing Canada stand up for Canada's interest on the world stage and getting tough on crime, making our communities and streets safer, will be a critical part of the speech."

On Afghanistan, the speech will say Canada should remain in Afghanistan until at least 2011, well beyond the proposed February 2009 deadline. But the extension will be put to a vote during this coming Parliamentary session.

The speech will outline five priorities: strengthening Canada's sovereignty in the world, forging a stronger federation, providing economic leadership, tackling crime, and improving the environment.

On the first of those priorities, the speech promises to protect Canada's Arctic.

"Canadians see in our North an expression of our deepest aspirations, our sense of exploration, the beauty and the bounty of our land, and our limitless potential," Gov. Gen. Michaelle Jean is expected to read.

Liberal Leader Stephane Dion has suggested his party will only vote down the speech if it leans too far to the right. He told his caucus Tuesday that he wants to hear the view of his members before making a choice.

"This is an unprecedented situation. Usually in a minority government, the opposition is trying to bring the government down, but here it's reversed," political analyst Tom Flanagan told CTV's Mike Duffy Live.

"I think for the first time in Canadian history, we have a government which wouldn't mind being defeated, but it can't seem to get the opposition to come out against it."

NDP Leader Jack Layton has said recently that his party cannot accept the government's stance on climate change and Afghanistan.

Bloc Quebecois Leader Gilles Duceppe has put forward five conditions for his party's support of the throne speech, one of which is a commitment to meet Canada's responsibilities under the Kyoto Protocol.

The following additional measures are expected to be included in the speech:

Tax cuts for individuals and businesses;
The government will limit its ability to spend tax dollars in the provinces;
Increased funding for cities and infrastructure;
More measures to help senior citizens; and,
No new national programs without provincial approval -- a direct appeal to Quebec.
The speech is also expected to appeal to urban and female voters, where his support has traditionally been weakest.
Liberal infighting

Meanwhile, Liberal MP Marcel Proulx confirmed today that he resigned this past weekend as Dion's right-hand-man in Quebec.

Sources told The Canadian Press that Proulx, who represents the Hull-Aylmer riding, quit after hearing that Dion had offered the post to Montreal MP Denis Coderre.

But Coderre has turned down the position, leaving Dion to find another replacement.

The Liberals will have a few days to decide whether to support the government's throne speech, or trigger an election.

Liberal MP Garth Turner told reporters that Dion is a consensus-builder and that more discussions will be held today and Wednesday with Liberal caucus members before a decision is made.

A Strategic Counsel poll released late Monday shows a fall election would likely result in another minority government.

Israel on Sunday rejected 50 Africans -- most of them reportedly from Sudan's Darfur region -- who had illegally entered the country from Egypt, a government official said.

A Sudanese refugee stands behind an Israeli flag during a rally in Jerusalem last month.

The move angered many Israeli lawmakers and human rights advocates because of reports that some Sudanese refugees are being killed or mistreated by authorities in Egypt.

Israel has been struggling with how to cope with an increasing number of Africans, including some from Darfur, who enter the country through Israel's southern border with Egypt.

According to Israel's Haaretz newspaper, the refugees were arrested Friday evening as they tried to cross from Egypt into Israel. They were held at a military base in southern Israel before being driven back to Egypt on Sunday, the newspaper reported.

The nationalities of the 50 sent back Sunday were not released, but the Israeli newspaper Haaretz, citing figures from the Israeli military, said nearly all of them had escaped the genocide in Darfur.

Speaking to CNN, Israeli government spokesman David Baker described them as "economic refugees from Africa."

Baker told The Associated Press that Darfurians would not be immune from Israel's ban on unauthorized immigrants.

Israeli law denies asylum to anyone from an enemy state, AP reports. Sudan's Muslim government is hostile to Israel and has no diplomatic ties with the Jewish state.

Eytan Schwartz, an advocate for Darfur refugees in Israel, told AP that about 400 have entered Israel in recent years. Baker said they would be allowed to live in Israel, and that the ban applied to new arrivals.

Dozens of Israeli lawmakers recently signed a petition urging the government not to deport Sudanese refugees.

Arab militias supported by Sudan's government have committed numerous human rights atrocities, U.N. officials say, including the slaughter and gang rape of civilians, destruction of water sources, looting and burning of buildings and crops.

Earlier this month, Israel's Channel 10 interviewed Israeli soldiers who said they had witnessed Egyptian security officers executing several Darfur refugees.

According to Channel 10, their testimonies were backed up by Israeli military security cameras that showed Egyptian soldiers shooting and killing several asylum-seekers.

Channel 10 did not air the video.

According to Haaretz, one of the asylum-seekers "jumped on the wire fence in an attempt to make it over to the Israeli side, but was reportedly dragged back and bludgeoned to death by the Egyptians."

Responding to the report, Human Rights Watch called on Egypt to investigate the reported deaths.

There has been no public response from the Egyptian government.

An Israeli government official told Reuters that Israel had received "Egyptian commitments" that refugees from Darfur would not be returned to Sudan.

Since the beginning of the year, nearly 3,000 Africans have crossed from Egypt into Israel -- nearly half of them from Sudan, many traveling on foot.

Many Sudanese refugees end up in Israeli prisons waiting for the government to decide what to do with them. Israeli volunteers -- outraged at the incarcerations -- have helped many Sudanese find work in Israel's agricultural communities and temporarily live in family homes across Israel.

"This whole issue of people crossing over from Sinai, people from Africa, to come to Israel is a new issue," Israeli Foreign Ministry spokesman Mark Regev said. "And it's taken a while to get the government to respond correctly."

The framework on which the American Union is being pegged is the NAFTA Super Highway (pictured) , a four football-fields-wide leviathan that stretches from southern Mexico through the US up to Montreal Canada.

There are government websites which carry full planning details of the Super Highway and its construction has already begun in Texas with no congressional oversight whatsoever. The Trans-Texas Corridor is being overseen by The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) and the contract is owned by the Cintra corporation which in turn is owned by the King of Spain Juan Carlos. The project is being financed by the implementation of a toll that will be collected by means of GPS tracking devices installed in all vehicles and also envelops many connecting roads to the highway.

The NAFTA Super Highway will allow vehicles, people and goods to travel from Mexico, into the heart of America and up to Canada with little impediment, effectively erasing America's borders wholesale.

Coupled with Bush's blanket amnesty program, the Pan American Union is the final jigsaw piece for the total dismantling of America as we know

Please Use Link Below to find out more about the North American Union and how it will destroy America as we know it:

A call To Arms?

, , , ...

The US army is to enforce a huge 18 mile security perimeter around the upcoming North American Union meeting in Canada (Montebello, Quebec on August 20 and 21 ) as well as cracking down on expected protests, and has already shut down a public forum due to take place close to the event. No media, No protest allowed! Why the secrecy? Internal SPP documents released under the FOIA have also shown that a wide range of US administrative law is being re-written in stealth under this program to “integrate” and “harmonize” with administrative law in Mexico and Canada, in a similar fashion to moves that have become commonplace within the EU.

This is not some fictional meeting! This is the end of America as we know it!Upon the inception of this new country our goverment will have the free will to wipe out the constitution and lay down their own laws as they see fit!

This is not what our forefathers layed down their lives for. They say it is for our own good.....Thanx Big Brother!

Rawanda: Part II

, , , ...

More than 400,000 people have died in the 4-year conflict in Darfur. More than 2.5 million have been displaced from their homes.

Murder, rape, pillage and mass forced displacement continue to be used as weapons of war by government-supported Janjawid militias, along with Sudanese armed forces.
Armed opposition groups have also been responsible for grave violation of human rights.
Attacks on aid workers and humanitarian convoys continue. Between June 2006 and January 2007, 12 aid workers were killed, more than in the previous 2 years combined.

The conflict has now spread to neighbouring Chad, where Sudanese Janjawid militias and their local Chadian allies target civilians with impunity.

The presence of African Union (AU) soldiers has provided some protection to civilians, but limited logistical and financial support means that mass killings and displacement continue to take place.

The Sudanese government has failed to abide by most resolutions of the AU and UN, including UN Security Council resolution 1706 (2006). it is currently stalling the full deployment of a joint UN-AU peacekeeping force.

NO MORE EXCUSES! PROTECT THE PEOPLE OF DARFUR NOW!
