I'm trying hard to see what's actually new here. Ornicopters have been around at least since the sixties, and microcontroller drones are virtually public domain.

The website emails me a newsletter. The offer came in an email, I think. I'm not sure if it was solicited. Come to think of it, it could be a way to slip me malicious code.

Mine's not on often enough to be much use in a botnet and it hasn't slowed down any despite the fact that some of the articles are kinda out there.
