I got visited by some unexpected guests a little earlier. I'm not really surprised even though I haven't seen them for years.
It seems a ziplocked bag of cereal proved too enticing for them to pass up. It was a mix of oats, barley, raisins, corn syrup and mollasses.
The ironic part is that I had placed it in a spot meant to protect it from mice. It was atop a kettle, atop the stove, atop a half width cinder block.
That put it about nose height to these peccaries. The thing is the stove is placed between me and my bike which is no more than an arms length away. The culprit just about crawled in bed with me and woke me up in her retreat by toppling the stove and kettle.
At least I have another batch waiting to have the corn syrup and molasses added.
That steel trash can I have in storage was a good upgrade from the ammo box.
