I think I already knew that LOL, I love animals, I only have cats because I sometimes have to be gone from home a little too long for a dog to be comfortable. My roomie, who lives in a camper in my yard, shares his with me though so I have the pleasure without having to worry about getting home in time to prevent accidents, they don't like when they have accidents, they tend to feel like it's their fault and I disagree, it would be my fault for not being home sooner to let them out. But how do you explain that to a dog????
Indeed, you are so right about that. Atticus has been on prednisone for the last couple weeks for an auto-immune disorder, and the meds make him drink a lot more water. We went out to the grocery store the other day, and when we got back he had wet the rug just inside the front door. He was not there at the door to give us his usual enthusiastic welcome when we came home, and I think it was because he felt bad about having made a puddle...his first since he was 9 weeks old. Poor baby! We are now stepping his dosage down, so I hope his thirst will begin to decline soon.
I have to take prednisone myself usually several times a year. I HATE it and I have total sympathy for Atticus!!!! But it's good that he is drinking a lot of water with it....despite the drawbacks. What a good baby!!!!!!!
