Thanks, Lois...but the truth is I was totally DFAS (desperate for a shot), and grabbed my old Vietnamese hat, which is made of layers of woven palm leaves with sheets of patterned paper between, and held it up to the lamp, and fired off some shots. The pictures are usually only visible to the wearer of the hat, when the sun is bright. The true artistry is in the hands of the people who make these ingenious hats, which are useful in bright sunlight or heavy rain. (Better than an umbrella, as one's hands are still free!)
That is just amazing! They are very artistic people, and how unusual - to see the pictures in the sunlight by the person wearing the hat!! Very cool!!!
