lol This is the same one as in the other photo...just a different angle, and he's feeling less threatened. (Did you notice how he has hooked the end of his tail onto the little red clip at the rear of the box?)

OK So we have to let him grow up before we eat him. This is even better. We can fatten him up on corn. lol
Opossom farmers.

Hmmmmm.....I'd rather raise dairy goats! up Goats are smart and lots more fun than possums!

Joe Coversuicidalstones Tuesday, May 13, 2008 2:40:47 AM

Goat cheese is better than opossum cheese lol
And goats are easier to milk bigeyes
Do you have photos of your goats?

Joe

No, we sold our small dairy herd a couple decades ago when we moved to the city. I miss the goats though...they were very affectionate, and would walk through the woods with us like dogs...and with our dog. We used to give them banana skins or a sheet of good writing paper for dessert! lol

Well, these aren't dairy goats, but here are some goats for you. http://my.opera.com/suicidalstones/albums/show.dml?id=529697
They just appeared on one of my cousin's farms one day bigeyes Now they feed with the cattle lol

Wow! so cute! love

Thanks for the link, Joe! Maybe someone "donated" them to your cousin! lol Are they friendly?

We had Nubians and brown Alpines in our herd. If you don't know these breeds you can see them at: http://home.earthlink.net/~lureynolds/breeds.html
We used to go to great pains to find good "jobs" for our young wethers: one was companion to a race horse, another to a llama, one a pet. I don't have digital photos of them, but we do have some paintings that my husband did with goats in them...I'll see if I can find one to photograph. wink

I'm glad you think they're cute, Ze...but don't ever try to pat one! I have great respect for that mouth full of teeth.

José Torreszetorres Tuesday, May 13, 2008 3:01:57 PM

I will never try! Thanks for you advise! bigsmilebigsmile

They are not particularly friendly, but they tolerate humans, especially ones with feed lol

So I am the perffect human for this animals! lol

I think Joe may have been referring to the goats, whereas my "teeth" comment was referring to possums. confused
