The world is like a ride in an amusement park. And when you choose to go on it, you think it's real because that's how powerful our minds are. And the ride goes up and down and round and round - it has thrills and chills and it's very brightly coloured and it's very loud and it's fun, for a while. Some people have been on the ride for a very long time and they begin to question; is this real or is this just a ride? And other people have remembered and they come back to us saying "Hey don't worry, don't be afraid, ever, because this is just a ride."

And we... kill those people.

"We have a lot invested in this ride. Shut him up. Look at my furrows of worry. Look at my big bank account and my family. This just has to be real."

Just a ride. But we always kill those good guys who try and tell us that, you ever notice that? And let the demons run amok. But it doesn't matter because it's just a ride and we can change it anytime we want. It's only a choice. No effort, no work, no job, no savings and money. A choice right now between fear and love. The eyes of fear want you to put bigger locks on your doors, buy guns, close yourself off. The eyes of love, instead, see all of us as one.

Here's what we can do to change the world, right now, to a better ride. Take all that money we spend on weapons and defences each year and instead spend it on feeding and clothing and educating the poor of the world, which it would many times over, not one human being excluded, and we could explore space together, both inner and outer, forever in peace.

Put Away Adultish Things

,

Here's something most people can relate to. Remember when you were a child and your parents would tell you to stop wasting your time doing something stupid? Maybe it was a cartoon you watched, or a comic you read or anything not school related. Can you remember how important that thing was to you at the time? No matter how trivial it seems now, you were having fun back then. So why were you told to stop?

It gets worse the older you get. Everyone's heard the old adage about putting away childish things. Most of us have let things that used to be a lifes obsession slip by the wayside. Why? So we're more grown up? What's so grown up about not doing something you enjoy. Surely that's just silly.

So here's my plan of action folks, go out and have some fun! If you haven't been bowling for ages, then go get a strike. If you're not very good just have a laugh and scream "STRIKE!" at the top of your voice every time you don't get a gutter ball. It doesn't matter if people look at you strangely. Most of them will simply be jealous that they aren't having as much fun.

When you're back from having fun, listen to all the songs you adored as a kid. It may well be a cringeworthy collection now, but you may rediscover an old favourite. If you can, find a comic and read it while listening to the old music. At the very least, you'll have a laugh.

Remember, life is what you make it and as we've usually got less than a century here, you've got to make every second count. At the end would you rather look back with regret or on fond memories. I know which I'd choose. So be a little childish today, it may just make your life worthwhile.
