Mankind reaches the stars and finds aliens under threat from a killer species. You can explore the entire galaxy, not bothering with the main story, and get into any trouble you can find on other planets. It's my third most wanted game.

That's pathetic. It's one of those things that'd take hours and hours of careful character interaction to get that to happen.

It reminds me of the GTA Hot Coffee mod. Not only did you need the game, but it had to be on PC and you had to download and apply an unofficial patch to get that working as well as play through a load of the game. For that they tried to ban the PS2 version in the States.
