It's Tuesday, and I'm stuck away from home with full PC access and very very bored. It must be time for some new blog skins then. As usual these are part of my
Dark Professional theme and the series of skins I'm releasing for it.
Naruto Skin

This is another remake of an old theme that got broken when MyOpera updated and changed my menu system. I've built it into the Dark Professional style and it's pretty damn fine if I do say so myself.
Matrix

I've actually had requests for something along these lines for a while so I thought I may as well spend ten minutes putting this together.
As always you can click on the images to be taken to the installation instructions. I've cut down the work needed to install these skins by including Dark Professional in each of the skin packages.

Welcome to the My Opera CSS Generator. This generator is designed to enable anyone to customize their blog themes without any specific knowledge of CSS. As such the codes produced are quite simple, but more than enough for most people to change the look and feel of their pages.

I told you recently that I've been working on a little project and that I'd reveal it today, so here goes.
Dark Professional is designed to be an easily reskinable blog theme for use with Opera blogs and groups. The core theme is just an update of the current Darkside theme that makes it a little more professional feeling (hence the name) and a bit less bland to look at, but each skin I release for use with Dark Professional will add different fonts, backgrounds and banners to change the core theme into something really special. Keep your eyes on this page for different skin releases and updates to the core theme.

Installation
To install this theme you need to import it to your account's custom CSS, select a black top bar and apply Darkside as your theme. To do so you need to follow these steps:
- Copy the following code to your clipboard:
@import url(http://files.myopera.com/darkprofessional/user.css);
- Click My page -> Appearance
- Select Darkside as your theme
- Click custom style sheet
-
Paste the the code from your clipboard in the text field
- Select Use my custom style sheet together with the current theme
- Click SAVE
- Click « Back
- Click Change color of the My Opera top menu
- Select a Black top bar
- Click SAVE CHANGES
Go to your page and reload it to see the changes.

Just to let everyone know, I'm working on a new blog theme for general release based around the Symbian Foundation branding as I just can't get enough of it. It's seriously funky in the graphics department. Hopefully the theme will be better looking than their first development phone and simpler to use than the new Yahoo mobile beta site.

Well, the good
doctor invited me to join a group defining ways for theme authors to get their themes out there to the general public. I've spent some of my recent downtime revising the first theme I created here - the Death Note theme and I've decided to go with the way the Doc suggested.

Installation
To install this theme you need to import it to your account's custom CSS, select a black top bar and apply Darkside as your theme. To do so you need to follow these steps:
- Copy the following code to your clipboard:
@import url(http://files.myopera.com/deathnotes/user.css);
- Click My page -> Appearance
- Select Darkside as your theme
- Click custom style sheet
-
Paste the the code from your clipboard in the text field
- Select Use my custom style sheet together with the current theme
- Click SAVE
- Click « Back
- Click Change color of the My Opera top menu
- Select a Black top bar
- Click SAVE CHANGES
Go to your page and reload it to see the changes.

You can see the theme in action at http://my.opera.com/deathnotes and in the screenshot above. I'm quite proud of it, especially the subtle background texture but there's a slight problem with Internet Explorer so far. Oh well, that's what you get for doing this stuff from a phone without a connection. I'll work on it some time later to fix that little problem.
