The Dark Furie

The rules are simple. I've got to list four things that I wish had already been invented and four things I wish had never been invented. Okay here goes...

Four Things That Need To Be Invented
1 - Psychosomatic food and drink. It'll taste like what you want it to taste like and adjust it's texture to match.
2 - Nanopaper. It uses electronic charges to "print" on it and, because of this, it can be reused over and over. Books made of this could plug directly into your PC to download new stories.
3 - Smart vaccinations that are attuned to each individual's genetic make-up and will get rid of anything wrong with the person.
4 - This one's related to number 3. It's basically the same thing but it works against insects, dust and dirt that find their way into your home.

Four Things That Should Never Have Been Invented
1 - Alcohol. While many people round the world drink responsibly, even more go out of their way to get so drunk that they become a danger to themselves and other people.
2 - Organised religion. Spirituality is such a personal thing that no religion can fit anybody one hundred percent, and yet they try to shoehorn themselves in, even adopting new prejudices because their new holy book told them to.
3 - Political correctness. It's a nice idea but it's gone too far, and actually become the thing it's meant to protect against by suppressing everyone's differences instead of celebrating them.
4 - Home education. While I'm not against this itself, I am against the self regulation rules they have in this country that allow a parent to ignore a child's education needs, then fill out their own progress report and not even be checked up on.
