Finally Finished My CSS
Sunday, 4. November 2007, 02:03:16
Thanks go to the following people who may or may not (I stole a lot of code for analysis) know that they helped.
- Demiphonic - who got me interested in this stuff in the first place.
- Dr Launch - who taught me it's possible to use the basic sheets as a base for your own modifications and not worry about doing everything.
- Fred - without his stylesheet I'd never have managed to learn how to move the main menu and resize it.
- Kite Geek - who sorted me out some free morphing software and a tutorial that ultimately helped me to make the pulsating banner.
- You horrible lot - who visited me so often that I thought I'd give you something special to visit.
I've got a couple more minor modifications to make yet including uploading some seasonal banners to go up when the time is right. But apart from that, I'm finished. Phew, it was exhausting.

How it looks in IE7 to me. No "The Dark Furie" on here.

Well, for what it's worth, it looks great in Opera (desktop) 9.23
However, the icon in the menu covers half the A in A man called Furie.

What I don't get now is how it's different in IE7 and on My Opera.
My Opera says:
A Man Called Furie
Chronicles
The Furie's Eye
The Dark Furie
But in IE7 it's:
Blog
Archive
Photos
About

On the latest version of Opera it displays the same as IE for me, but with the new menu titles.
The menu selector icon's a design decision Rosie. I was considering having a Monty Python style hand instead, but went this way instead. I'm still trying to find a way to change the mouse cursor without people having to download extra stuff.

Once upon a time there was an Englishman called Mart who joined Opera under the alias 'theoddbod' and started writing stories. # 4. November 2007, 22:10
