Introducing my Mobile Newsroom Package. Created for the professional on the go, this package centres around allowing you to keep an eye on the news wherever you are using your s60 3rd edition phone. And, as this is a Furie approved and tested package, you can be sure that everything will be done as cheaply and as stylishly as possible. This package contains the following:
- Like Haze theme for that distinctly professional look.
- Two satellite wallpapers to add a newsroom feel to the Active Standby screen.
- Mobile Weather application to keep an eye on the weather in any of your multiple chosen locations.
- Reuters Mobile application to read news stories in a slick and cheap environment.
- Touchticker application that adds a news ticker to the bottom of the Active Standby screen.
- Reuters ringtone for those that love the news a little too much.
To download this package you'll need ZIP capability on your phone. If you don't have one already you can download a good ZIP manager here for free, which will enable you to download ZIP files.
Once you've got that installed you can get this package by clicking the download icon on the left of the page.

There's not much choice at that price range Kiran. I'm assuming you're using american dollars so I'll have a look around. Let me know if you're not.

Lets see, todays exchange rate puts 12,000 rupees at $298 or £150.52. For that price you're pretty limited in what you can get. Having said that, Nokia's just released series 40 5th edition in it's Supernova line. Or if you're interested in a smartphone there's the old series 60 2nd edition for that price.
Back in a sec with a link.

That's the part that sucks to be a South African on limited data..

Or if you don't want a smartphone you could try this.

Bit on the small side but you get used to it pretty quickly..
Now if only my bloody network will stop messing with me I'll be able to download some more applications to make it even cooler..

The link to the zip manager doesn't seem to help. Fortunately, my phone comes with a built-in zip manager. However, as luck would have it, a colleague of mine chose today to ask for help. I need to install X-plore on her phone so that I can retrieve the memory card's lock code. She has a Nokia XpressMusic (don't ask which one, I've forgotten already
So I came here, where I know there is a link to a zip manager. Only, the link doesn't in to the zip manager anymore since Getjar has updated their site since you linked to it.

Make sure you tutor your friend with Xplore before leaving her with it. It's a powerful file manager and someone without experience can easily delete some of the phone's core files with it. You can stop them showing in the config menu though.

Is it possible for you to send a Zipmanager to my email?
It's a bitch to go looking though X-plore allows me to extract content from zip files and being able to send via bluetooth is easy it gets irritating if the people can't do it themselves.

Blaming this RICA shit we got on here as after registration that disappeared but the random shut down continues. Hard Reset?

If it's anything like the story with the banks, then they won't accept an erf number as an address!.
The bank even asked me if I have any account sent to that address! Of course, that would not be possible anyway since there are no street deliveries in Umzinto anyway!
So what did they require of you for this RICA thing anyway? The blood of a lamb?, your first born?, your soul?, ...

Registration is free but to me the implications is totally fucked up.
People brag about cell phone theft not being possible anymore.
Mad Scientistqlue # Friday, December 11, 2009 3:21:29 PM
The declared purpose of this 'law', is to prevent mobile phone assisted crime. (such as using a mobile phone as a remote detonator). But in truth, it doesn't prevent a criminal from giving any false details.
What it does do, however, is make it possible for the ruling party to spy on it's citizens, potentially eliminating democracy from this country!
