Nah, the one I was looking for was two creatures (can't recall exactly but I think it ya a calvin and hobbes cartoon) discussing the chicken and egg thing. The one explains to the other how it was a proto-chicken that laid the first chicken's egg. irked.
It's annoying how some things are just so easy to remember and other things are vague and foggy. awww.
I must be getting old. cry.

Sounds like one of my conversations. The creature that laid the egg that hatched into the first chicken wasn't a chicken, therefore the egg came first. As a chicken egg wasn't specified, you could say reptile eggs or even fish eggs came first, but in the interests of fairness we stay at the origins of the chicken, which was the first official chicken egg, but not laid by a chicken.
