Hitslink - for many it's a tool, the way we see how many people have visited us recently. For some though, it's a dark insight into the minds of our visitors. A terrifying visage of the world around us.

While it's not unusual for me to get weird searches, and it's not unusual to get multiple instances of those searches, getting two from different places in the world asking the exact same question one after the other (in the same minute in fact) isn't a usual event. The question? They both wanted to know how to type capital letters on the Android powered G1 device. Guess it's not that simple a phone after all eh?

  • Look at your keyboard
  • Hold Shift (the one with the hollow arrow pointing up)
  • Press a letter key

But they're not all full keyboard, and it is a pain working out each new 'phone. But DAMN they're expensive, especially bearing in mind that they got the software for free.

One of my friends asked me to come and check on his PC, he had some problems with Internet connection. I solved it and he started to type a mail he needed to send urgently. Then I noticed that he types only small letters. It was a business letter and I asked him isn`t it going to be inappropriate to send a letter like this. He told me that he will type big letters later... :left: After he finished, he pressed caps lock and then moved from sentence to sentence and replaced small letters with capitals :faint: I asked him why did he do that, he was really confused, not understanding what I am talking about. I asked him if he ever used shift key and he said that he tried but it is not working in his keyboard, when he presses it, nothing is happening on a screen :ko: rip

I got a mail from my dad once. The first half was just fine, but suddenly he must have hit caps lock. Continuing his mail for something like ten more sentences, he suddenly wrote (still in caps, but I'll spare you): "I don't know why everything suddenly comes out in just big letters, so I better end it here." :lol:

Apparently Google are ???? as to why :eek: still funny though, we live in a world of ones and zeros + you can find me on here by typing robbinitall its just my joke name to go with act2bmp...what can also be googled

Gdare what are your friends key settings on ? when I install my OS (Ubuntu 9.04) I have to change mine from USA to UK even if I do it on install ? but I've also had to strip down this keyboard to get all the hidden bits of gunk out of it because some keys were doing that, just a thought ? :bandit:
