There is nothing better than winding down after a long and full day of activities (and coffee and rocking out in the car and getting flipped off by a lady stopped at a green light and having a buttload of fries and being annoyed and then hiding in the trunk of my car and then hiding in the woods and then hiding in the woods again and then crawling through poison ivy - I think) by popping in your iPod earbuds and listening to music while making ramen noodles.
Skull is back at PvP. Hooray! After a long hiatus (well, not really at all) away from the strip, Skull is back. And trollier than ever. I must say I haven't much liked PvP since the big wedding back in may. To me, I think that it could only be summed up in one image, that Scott Kurtz should totally draw for us. Brent marrying Jade who is actually a shark, and then have Cole and Francis jump over the ceremony in the General Lee.
I'm weird. We all know that. We all accept that. So a few weeks ago when I was playing touch football at church, I decided to try something out that I saw in a Paramore video. It worked like a charm. So we decided that I would bring my camera the next week and film it. So we did. And so the following video was born. I know that I run like a spaz. But I really wasn't sure what speed to run at, because I didn't want to go flying into the ground or something. This is not an example of my running skrizzles. And remember, you can turn off the annotations in the bottom right corner.
So as it turns out, my Summer Story has snagged me a spot as a finalist in the MyOpera Summer Story Competition! If you would all be so kind and vote for me I would so appreciate it!!
So, the great folks here at MyOpera are holding a little contest. We (the users) write a blog post summing up our summer of 2008. I hope that you (my fellow users) find my summer story to be just interesting enough garner a vote! Hit the jump for the tale.
I have been so incredibly busy the past few weeks. See that picture on the right? The French Tofu and the piece of bacon that looks like a stupid punk? Yeah, I DON'T EVEN KNOW. I've been that busy.
Last week, from Saturday to Saturday, a youth group from Maryland came up to visit our church on a missions trip. This was the best group of people I have ever met. No lie. We are already planning meetups for both of our groups for November (maybe) and some of them are coming up (just because they can) at the end of the school year. I am excited.
I have also been working like crazy. I am now a manager in training at my work, which doesn't mean much. Like, at all. I'm going to get shown how to do the manager lists and I get to wear a different color shirt. But it's exciting.
Just got my stuff in for the school year. I don't remember what classes I signed up for. I know two. SAT prep and video editing. I think. I'll find out in a few weeks, I guess.
I noticed that I was closing in on my 10,000th track scrobbled on last.fm, so I timed it accordingly. My 10,000th track scrobbled was Mmmbop by Hanson.
I bought a camera. Nikon Coolpix S550. 10 Megapixels. It is friggen sweet.
I got a haircut. Not sure if I like the front but we'll see.
I've been meaning to post more on here. The problem is that I have virtually no incentive to post anything because I hate desktop computer setups. And forget going downstairs to use my moms laptop. That's all the way downstairs. I refuse to be bothered.
