The Flag Counter stayed on my About page up to Tuesday, 11 Oct 2011. Then something happened, and it stopped being visible. I waited, thinking that it might be a server or proxy-server bug, but it remained invisible. So I moved it to this Blog page, and made it a Sticky post. Hope it works.

Karel Zeman (1910 -1989) was a Czech(oslovak) film director who in his films combined animation and live action. Vynález zkázy, aka The Amazing (or Fabulous) World of Jules Verne, also used the original old book illustrations as a background of the sets, thus creating a new quality. The film is based on Verne's Facing the Flag.

My flag counter was reset to zero a few months ago. Apparently a certain period of inactivity has this result - a bit unfair, if you ask me!

Yes, true. Its behaviour is rather erratic.
