Director and producer George Lucas, father of Star Wars series, supervises music recording for Red Wings, his new Lucasfilm project. Together with composer, multiple Grammy Award winner Terrence Blanchard, and producer Rick McCallum, Lucas supervises recordings by FILMharmonic Orchestra Prague (formed by the best soloists from the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra, Prague Symphonics and Czech Radio Philharmonic Orchestra) in Rudolfinum Studio in Prague. This orchestra already cooperated with such directors as Quentin Tarantino, Ridley Scott, Werner Herzog, Jodie Foster and Robert Redford. George Lucas stays in Prague up to 8 June 2011.
Red Wings, written by John Ridley and directed by Anthony Hemingway, starring Cuba Gooding Jr. and Terrence Howard, is based on the true story of the first ever Afroamerican pilots, from Tuskegee, Alabama, fighting in the WWII.
Shooting took place in the USA, Croatia, and also at Letňany at Prague Studios.
