James Patrick Kelly: On the Net - Steamed

,

Current, September 2011, issue of Asimov's Science Fiction (Magazine), see the table of contents with highlighted clickable free reads, brings Steamed, an excellent article in On the Net, the ongoing series by SF writer James Patrick Kelly.
Steamed sums up history of plus adds interesting and important links on Steampunk, one of the most popular sub-genres of science fiction today.
I'm quite sure that you too will be fascinated by the constantly brilliant book reviews by one of contemporary SF greats, Paul Di Filippo, in his On Books article right here.
Enjoy!
Postscript: Wednesday, 24 August 2011: A batch of SF magazines arrived a moment ago, among them a dead tree copy of September 2011 issue of Asimov's. Curiously enough, this copy contains neither the James Gunn article nor Steamed by James Patrick Kelly. They are, though, announced for the next October/November double issue. Still, you can read them online, in this post, as a preview.
