Lawrence Person (and Andrew Fox) on J. G. Ballard and the London riots

Don't miss these two most interesting articles on the visionary work of the late J. G. Ballard (1930-2009). Ballard's central topic, unifying all his novels and short stories, and present in all of them, is catastrophy, on all levels, from personal to planetary.
The first post is by Lawrence Person on J. G. Ballard and the London Riots and the most important link is to an article by Andrew Fox, entitled Friday Fun Links: It's J. G. Ballard's World, We Just Live in It with many other Ballard-related links.
Most disturbing. 'Running Wild.'

There are writers you can recognize after reading a couple of paragraphs, say, Joe R Lansdale, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Sir Terry Pratchett smile, William Gibson, and also J. G. Ballard. Pure joy!
