Malcolm McDowell revisits A Clockwork Orange

,

40 years ago, Stanley Kubrick, following the great success of Dr. Strangelove and 2001: A Space Odyssey, made his most controversial film A Clockwork Orange, based on the novel* by Anthony Burgess. The film's (anti)hero Alex, was played by then almost unknown Malcolm McDowell.
Warner Home Video issues a 40th Anniversary Edition of A Clockwork Orange on Blu-ray today, Tuesday, 31 May, 2011.
Interview (by Edward Douglas) with Malcolm McDowell, and his recollections on shooting the film were published yesterday on ComingSoon.net here.
*) I remember reading the novel, as a student, in a day. And I was fascinated and stunned. As stunned as after seeing the film many years later.
