My favourite Czech writer made it to Amazon Best Science Fiction/Fantasy Top Ten. His novel The Other City (Druhé město) is number six in this Top 10. The labyrinthine story of the magical other side of Prague is Ajvaz's (pronounced EYE-vuz) first book translated into English. Highly recommended, especially for the fans of J. L. Borges.
