After lots of failing attempts in trying to install vista. After i got my new motherboard i thought i give it another try. i was curious what vista is like? what's new in it? why all the fuss about it?! so i dl the new server pack 1 edition , put the cd and installed it.

First i liked how the desktop looks for sure. and the gadgets is nice as well. And since i love the "segoe UI" font so it was a big impress for me. Thought then to install the programs. see if anything might have an error or failure in its installation as i heard from people and from reading reviews. so i setuped my drivers and the programs. so far all went good. however.. a program i use a serial key for , the key wasn't accepted. although its a valid one. which is weird.

Moving on to games. I thought to give it a try since people are complaining big time that vista don't run games. nowadays i only play The elder scroll oblivion. since new games suck big time. and its rare now if a game company released what we at least can say. GOOD GAME!!. so anyway i installed the game all went good and the game worked. but its sound was soo lowwww. even when the audio in the game all is up to the max level. i checked the sound card volume and found it high as well. so that is another weird thing.

I kept going back and forth in the folders. exploring vista. i had this feeling that its like.. its still young!! like.. Too early for it. yeah it looks great and its working somehow fine. but i didn't feel comfy with it. as how i feel with xp.

The more i used it.. the more i felt something is not right with it. Beside the small things that annoyed me , like taking ages in loading a folder with lots of pics , although i have 4 gb rams it should work fine. but still it was slow. Finally i took the decision to go back to xp. as i felt for vista like. "okay not now" still needs some time , too early for it. After installing xp , i checked the program that vista refused its serial key. so it was accepted on xp as usual. which confirmed to me that seems vista is having some glitches or bugs.

If i would rate windows vista hmm i would give it 5 out of 10.

There is no doubt that this year is filled with albums releases , I Listened to a lot of albums for many bands in this recent months. Will talk for now about an Awesome band who i got amazed by their Album this year. I got many new bands i listened to , will talk about them in other posts.

Carach Angern

Emerging from Netherlands Carach Angern brings a whole new meaning to symphonic black metal. Their first album was released this year named "Lammendam". The album is nothing more than Brilliant symphonies and guitar riffs. Great Atmospheres and Composing.

When i first listened to the album i was amazed by how the keys since its sounds a bit like piano merging with the symphonies and the fast drumming. The vocal is great in both black and brutal vocaling. With the help of their lyrics and topics "Ghost stories" and trying to create the perfect symphonic atmospheres with violins and horns. It all create the perfect picture to what they are discussing.

As a whole i wouldn't say more than the album is a masterpiece really. Amazing songs. Totally recommended for those who like symphonic black metal. However i must say , as time passes by comes more and more bands who challenge Top bands in a certain style. Carach Angern is from the bands that challenges Dimmu borgir indeed and this will appear more in their coming albums , Vesania also is challenging Dimmu big time , after their last Masterpiece "Distractive Killusions" Some people actually started to say that Vesania is way better than Dimmu in the symphonic style. And they are both Dimmu and Vesania fans. Well for me i don't know actually i guess the whole thing need more time and more albums to decide the whole matter who is better than who or who is more creative in his music than the other. I guess Dimmu is still on top however there are people coming fast behind them and i guess they might even surpass them in the future. Especially Vesania and Carach Angern and maybe other bands too i didn't listen to or know them. who knows!! In the end i say that this album for Carach is amazing and i enjoyed it a lot. Masterpiece indeed.

Dark Days

As usual its been a while since i last wrote here. Nothing changed much, life is pretty much the same. college , exams , vacations and boredom. endless music and melodies in the ears , stargazing and stormy brain thoughts. playing strategy games to make the time pass faster and watching Anime. future plans changed and the vortex of depression is once again opened.

What changed in the last months was my music taste. I've become more interested in metal with pure art and extreme music. I didn't found better than metal bands with insanity themes. it started with "The wicked" and "Morgul" and "Trollheim's grott" , "In Lingua Mortua" and latley with "Tartaros" , "Devil Doll" and "Profundi"

Im Enjoying this bands so much. its what my ear tend to listen now. And since the black metal is having a bad era and so is many other metal styles. so searching for good bands or good music have been put on hold and hope is getting weaker.

"Thy Serpent" became my second fav band after summoning. Awesome music and emotions. A twisted gloomy melodies indeed. All respect to them and wish they come back soon.
Lost many good bands those recent months. Arcturus , Anorexia nervosa , Thyrane and many other. More of my fav bands is splitting up sadly.

*As for other kinds of music. Dark industrial/electronic music is always nice to listen to. Good bands with good keys.

*Since the mind requires more music. so i found that Folk metal is a great style to listen to and focus more on it. Finntroll , moonsorrow and thyrfing comes in the top places.

Zyklon Storm Detonation Live DVD

Zyklon is one of my favorite Deathmetal Bands. An Awesome Band Line up. Great Deathmetal Music And Great Albums. So i was checking metal Archives when i noticed they released a DVD. So i got a torrent and downloaded it right away.

I was amazed by the Live Performance Zyklon did in this live dvd. Really Its like there was a huge energy coming out from the stage. As They started with the Song "Core Solution" from their Album "Aeon" Really an awesome start. After that was the song "Worm World" from their first album "World ov Worms" I thought that since this song is from their first album where "Daemon" From Limbonic art was the vocale In this One. But i was Amazed by how Secthdaemon sang in this song. Total Brutal total Destruction and you can see the fans Headbanging like there is no tomorrow. lol
A brilliant performance by Secthdaemon who totaly rocked the stage and didnt stop headbanging Until the live was over

And that lifted up the spirit of the fans throughout the live show. And I must say the way he plays on the bass guitar is in Indescribable

While i was watching the dvd i was like this

When i saw how the awesome Guitarist "Destructhor" play on the guitar. Even the solos was exactly Like the ones in the albums. Not many Guitarest can do that. some bands play the solos Nice and some play it like crap but never play it like the one in the cd. Until i saw "Destructhor" playing the solos i thought it was a playback solo. And that just proves how accurate This Guy plays on the Guitar.
he is damn Fast Very fast And since he lead the rhythm guitar so he do most of the work. And yet he did it perfectly and throughout the whole show i noticed he was so focusing on the guitars and how he plays. well off course its Zyklon's Deathmetal Riffs. lol So hard and so complicated. But he seemed so confident and seemed like he knows what he is doing.
Really Awesome performance by "Destructhor". I wish i could see him in more bands. I Just heard that he plays in a band called "Myrkskog". I will have to check that out

As for samoth And trym. Well Both was surely awesome. They have this chemistry with each other since they used to play in "Emperor" Together. Samoth is great on the lead guitars. also seems so confident and so professional. well of course he is damn experienced And played in many bands Like Zyklon-B Arcturus,Satyricon,Gorgoroth. He has a great history.

And In zyklon he have this stand on the stage like the image on the dvd's cover. The band seems to like how he stands. Most of the pics for samoth in zyklon are with this strange stand

Trym Of course is superfast on the drums. with an outstanding endurance. But i must say i like him better when he used to play in emepror. Such an awesome bricks he used to make With this great speed he has. But he for sure plays in zyklon really well too. And in this live dvd i think he didnt even sweat. lol and if he did then its from the heat of the stage. not because he was tired

He did a great job in this live show. and from time to time he sticks his tongue out to the camera like he want to say "you cant beat me" lol And the fans seems that they want crush their heads everytime trym speeds up a little.

*Overall it was fun watching this dvd and this great performance by one of the most well known deathmetal bands. I really recommend to watch this dvd guys. Really Awesome. And im sure you will like it a lot.

Long Time.

WHOA!!! its been ages since my last post here. Well i was busy in college and studying and stuff. I was also busy with myspace Since I have 3 pages. My main page and an astronomical one and I run a music fan page for The band "Arditi"

Well Nothing much is going on. I just got a new computer Which crashes a lot Something is wrong with the rams i think. But other than that just playing Games most of the time. And wondering in space and listening to new Music albums and stuff. lol

I really like this opera blog and i will try to keep it updated and discuss some issues here like what i do in myspace blog.

I hope you guys are having a great time I will visit your blogs to see what's been happening with you guys.

So Tommorow im back to college:irked:. No more fun or spare time. Just endless Nights of studying and Slow movement of the day time:wait: CRAP:furious:
HAA. Been Watching lately The DVD of Arcturus "ShipWrecked In Oslo" and its Just an incredible DvD.I Liked it a lot. Arcturus Really rule big time.

Now im waiting for The kovenant to release Aria Galacica. And also the release of The new Dimmu Borgir album. and also Samael. Cause music is the only thing that will cool me down.

Days Of Darkness and Silence.

SO, The past few days was hell. My Exam results Came out and it wasn't that good, so i will have to repeat the year anyway. Which really Sucks:yuck: The Summer Vacation is about to end and it was the most Boring Vacation i've ever had.Once again The Daily Routine had won and its Fucking Annoying...!! Been reading The book "Atlas of the universe" And its Nice. ahhh Been Searching for some work But it didn't go well. Listened to some New Bands Recently Like "Vesania" And "Turmion Katilot" Both are great i enjoyed Them. Sleeping all day and awake all night. so again doing Nothing at all, Depression is on its way and i'am waiting for the vacation to end to go back to college. SO I CAN BE MORE BORED AND DEPRESSED...!!

[THE REUNION AFTER 10 YEARS]. After the release of "Welcome My last chapter" album in 1996. which was a totally Great album, a wonderful black metal cd. contains lots of dark melodies and supreme dark atmospheres. These guys from Sweden split up. and it was a hopeless case that they are coming back. They disappeared actually. Now they came back after 10 years with a new cd. which hopefully it will be released soon.
For those who doesn't know the band. check them out. These guys are awesome. i uploaded a track from thier one and only album in 1996. its worth listening. This album is a masterpiece.
