Thanks to "The Shack" For more great parks that I'm going to ues...... Sicks, Exibition, and Rogers.

Also I really like the Japanese Cards, I wish SOM would take a look and add the stats to the advanced side too.

Outstanding stuff.......thx.

mapstratfan Sunday, July 31, 2011 8:32:53 PM

Pulled a bunch more today and love them all. My thanks are getting redundant...

The new Exhibition Stadium is an outstanding homeplate shot.

Love the Nicollet Park and Sicks Stadium shots. Those balconies out beyond left field could have the precursors to Wrigleyville, if only the Pilots had been more competitive!

842 is terrific. Thanks Len and Ken Z for this. Anyone know anything about the park itself?

KenP1 Saturday, September 3, 2011 12:41:22 PM

Boy you guys have done some great work with these ballpark shots,

fantastic job!

"Anyone know anything about the park itself?"

It's in the GarLen chart. It won't be of much use to anyone until SOM releases the 1884 season. (As with 845 and the 1891 season.) In Mechanicsville, Virginia, it was home field to the Richmond Virginians, a minor league side promoted to the American Association out of that league's need and convenience. Not uncommon for 1884 which was disrupted by the arrival of the Union Association.

845 East End Park. Heck of a lobby! Any info about it? Was it in Cincinnati?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/East_End_Park_%28Cincinnati%29

Thanks for the excellent work you guys are doing.

GarLen Friday, September 16, 2011 12:50:24 AM

When you can't find a code on the GarLen chart in numerical order, do a search for the code # on the GarLen code page and you'll find the park in question that way. The 840 - 849 parks were/will be added codes after our first version of this code list was published.

Gave #800 a spin. Works very nice with an interesting angle for the picture. Best shot I have ever seen of Sicks. Thanks.

bolee41 Friday, September 16, 2011 2:37:05 PM

The new #800 is by far the best photo of Sicks Stadium ever.
Thanks

819 is best shot yet of Griffith Stadium. Thanks.

GarLen Thursday, November 10, 2011 4:06:25 AM

The 823d is SO stunning that I had to hunt down an N just so I could get it added here.

banosd Friday, November 18, 2011 4:22:28 AM

Finally played a game using that 823d. That ballpark makes playing with a bad team a lot more fun!

bactsr2 Friday, November 18, 2011 4:37:27 AM

Thanks for the Seattle parks.

Lee Robertsmendozaline Friday, November 18, 2011 12:07:10 PM

These are all great, but my greatest thanks to you for the brilliant shot of Nicollet Park in Minneapolis (844). I lived in the Twin Cities for six years and have always wanted a good, playable shot of that old field. Do you know about what year this shot was taken from?

Thanks guys for everything.
Peace!

"Nicollet Park"

1954.

KenWen Saturday, November 26, 2011 1:24:39 PM

I thought that I already had just about everything from the Shack, but there was some new material there today. As we've come to take for granted, Ken Z does an amazing job with the colorizations.

Thank you for making these available to the community. Goodness only knows how you find some of these pictures.

bolee41 Thursday, December 1, 2011 1:52:37 AM

The volume of all the new material at the Shack is incredible. With the holidays here I am having a difficult time just viewing the new ballparks once, much less really use them.

However, this is a wonderful problem to have, Thank You as always.
