Hi and Welcome..
Android Screenshot!

FINALLY you can take a screenshot of your Android phone without rooting, special apps or having to constantly connect to a PC..

For years Google regarded being able to take a screenshot of your Android phone as a "security risk" (weird eh?), but it would appear that they've relented with the release of Gingerbread 2.3.5 - having upgraded my HTC Desire S to the new firmware I found I could take a screen capture by holding down the 'power' button and tapping the 'home' softkey. (far bottom left on the Desire S)
The button configuration required to take the shot varies between devices - on the Samsung Galaxy Ace for instance it appears to be the 'power' button in conjunction with a centre click on the direction pad, but at last we can all upload pics of our lovely (and not so lovely) homescreens; hurrah!
