This was our quest of the day, my son had an accident Thursday this week. Now we had to repair.

Nå er'n i orden igjen.He bumped in to a car in front of him at fairly low speed, but the bumper already had a weakness and nearly broke straight off in center. Both shock absorbers attached to the bumper were severely bent, and the bumper it self was useless. In addition the front plate behind the bumper was bent in and up. As a bonus to that, both front-wings were Bent out caused by their attachment to the bumper.
It is now repaired, - my uncle had a used bumper in his attic and the rest was done by means of a strap band jack (to separate the two bent shock absorbers attached between bumper and car), a sledge hammer and a bar (to put wings and front plate back in place).
The Volvo 140, 240, 740 and 940 are all good to their owners. This was of course the case with the PV, the Duett and the Amason also, but these are now more rarely seen on the roads.
