Do They Know What They're Talking About???

After a incident last week I've been asking myself if the police really know what they are talking about. Last week my son was pulled over by a cop who told him that his brake lights were tinted... what they are the original ones that came on the car... My son then started to argue with the cop and then he said the car set too low and the windows were tinted which they are all within specs. After arguing with him for awhile my son got feedup and asked him for his bonding number the cop then got upset and called two of his buddies on the radio and then they showed up and they told my son that they were going to tow the vehical because it was unsafe to be on the streets...... When my son was standing there waiting for the tow company to show up they told him to start walking or they were going to arrest him for obstructing justice. When my son got home I got pissed and then look up where the boundries for this cops jurisdiction was and found out that first of all he pulled my son over outside of his jurisdiction and made him drive up the street to get him into it. Second there is no laws aginst tinting brake lights as long as they are visable one hundred feet away in broad daylight. Needless to say that after I looked up all of the codes that supposedly were wrong with my car and found them all to be BS I am now going to go to court and file civil actions aginst this cop. If the cops are suppose to know the law then where did this cop come up with all of this BS so he could write a ticket that doesn't have a leg to stand on in court. Do they know the law are do they just make them up as they go hoping that no one else knows the law and will just go to court and pay the ticket?

Insurance Ha

My wife was at a stop light the other morning and she started off when the car next to her came into her lane and hit her. Now picture this the lane curves to the right from the light and continues down about sixty yards and then cuts back to the left. When the other driver left the stop light he just went straight coming into her lane and hitting the car. She pulled over into a parking lot and called the police and then me. I went down to the scene of the accident and the police officer let her go without a ticket because she was not at fault. After chasing the insurance company around for about three weeks trying to get an answer from them as to what was happening with our cars damage. They kept telling us that they were investigating it. Now they came back and said that they found both drivers at fault and they were not going to pay for either car. Now it's a law you have to have insurance but why should you have to pay someone so when your car is hit buy someone else and you're not at fault you lose out? If you have to go out and hire a lawyer to get your money for someone elses fault then why pay an insurance company when that is suppose to be their job. I knew when I heard the same insurance company was the carrier of both our car and the other drivers car that I was going to lose out... Well they had their chance to settle for just an amount to cover damages but now I have to get a lawyer involved and we all know how they are.

I Think that it was BS

This morning I started home from working overtime and on the way home the car started overheating. I had some extra water in the car so I pulled over and added it to the radiator. I continued home but the car got too hot so I pulled off the highway on an off ramp. When I almost got to the top the car died out as these newer cars do to protect the engine. I knew the car was going nowhere so I got out and started to walk to a phone to get a tow. I returned in less then an hour as I had to walk about three miles to the nearest phone. When I returned the car was gone! At first I thought my son had shown up and moved the car as he was only about twenty minutes away. But then a man standing along the side of the road told me that the police had towed it. My son showed up about a minute later and said that he pulled up as they were getting ready to tow the car and was told that since he was not the owner of the car that he had better move along or the policeman would write him a ticket. I called the towing service to find out about my car and I was told that it would be $175.00 to get it out today and that an additional $20.00 would be added for each additional day it was at the impound. What is this country coming to where you can't even leaving your car to get help without it being towed off and then being charged an outrageous price for towing it six blocks. The term to serve is BS the only thing cops are out there for is to see how they can give you a ticket or tow your car off so they can make a buck.

What's Up

What's up with this text messaging while you're driving? Why would a person want to tie up their hands and eyes when they should be on the wheel and road? Use the phone like a phone and talk, why do you have to text someone? If they can't talk well then maybe you shouldn't be on the phone. Is the conversation that important to put other peoples lives in danger while you look at your phone to text and drive with one hand? I mean WHAT'S UP?
