Are you from Aberdeen?

I do like Princess St, but Rose St has always fascinated me more, what with all the pubs and little nooks and crannies it has. You're right about Aberdeen, though. It just doesn't have Edinburgh's sense of style.
Kirsten - Austen lives about two minutes away from me. And our friend Tony is only another five minutes walk in the same direction. It's totally bizarre that we three all grew up together, and now all live as close to each other in a big city as we did in the the tiny village of Coldstream. Claire ruins it, as she lives more towards the centre of the Grey Granite Nightmare than we do. but at least she's in Aberdeen too.
Which reminds me...Austen, are you going to her birthday garden-party on Saturday? If so, what are you getting her as a pressie? I'm a bit stuck for ideas...! I'm currently thinking a bottle of something incredibly alcoholic?
