Back in Ubuntu/Linux!

Yes! I'm back to my Ubuntu/Linux system and that's great. Not only because I fully agree with the Ubuntu community philosophy of a free and open source software but also because the aesthetics of the system is now really fantastic. Just have a look at this screenshots and see how muy desktop looks like now. Developers into the Community have been working very hard as I see it and the results are excellent. Linux is the running operating system at the computing laboratory of the public high school where I work and students really take great advantage of it.

i'm getting a new laptop next month... this time with linux... i've read about it over the years and am really curious to try it :smile: i'm afraid i'll cross over to the dark side... lol... perhaps we'll bump into each other once i do :wink:

haha!don't be afraid about crossing the line this time, linux is really great. Once you get used to it you'll see it's very friendly and easy to use. The best about it is the fact that it has no viruses!!! There are no viruses for this op system, so you won't have to worry about them. Updating packages are available through the system itself and they're totally free. What I like the best about linux is its philosophy of free software as a valuable human developement tool which can be improved by users around the world. And the results are excellent in quality.
